Gorgeous multi bedroom suite that was perfect and spacious for our little family getaway. Loved the fireplace and we were conveniently located right near the outdoor pool.

We stayed in three bedroom condo. It was absolutely perfect size for our family. Kitchen was well equipped, and location was perfect for skiing at Okemo. Loved that we had access to the outdoor heated pool and hot tub. Would definitely stay here again and would recommend.

Beautiful property and an excellent value for its quality. It would be good if there were a second restaurant on the grounds, however.

Lovely outdoor pool and hot tub in winter

Outdoor hot tub and heated saltwater pool (in winter!) were for sure the high light. So lovely and room had robes to wear to get there. Room was fine and well kept. There was no maid service and the breakfast was terrible, but otherwise all was good.

The heated pool and hot tub are great. The kids were nervous about swimming outside in the cold winter until they got in the pool. Then they didn't want to leave.

Wonderful piece of history and architecture. We had skied all day. It was so nice to come back to this warm and welcoming property. We were given a tour and history of the house which was so interesting. We stayed on the 3rd floor which was the original servant quarters, very large furnished room, jacuzzi tub, comfortable bed. Very quiet. Would return.

This historic resort is beautiful and quaint. The property is lovely, even in the off-season, and it has a classic charm. As with any older property, it has it's wear and tear, it's clean but not immaculate, the beds are older and could use some updating. The bathroom was updated but not pristine. Overall, it is a nice place to stay, and the staff is very courteous, kind, and helpful!

6/10 Good

We used to spend a good deal of time in ludlow . Recently my wife and I have been visiting about once per year. Back in the day we very much enjoyed the castle inn for its great food. We thoghtvwe would stay for a couple of nights. We hoped to ski one day. We went into the inn with a big ski bag and they wanted us to climb 3 levels with it. Luckily there was a person who became available to help. The room was a large king. The furnishings were represetative of a classic inn. Very old but not broken or too worn. However the heat was set so high it was unconfortable with no mechanism to lower it. .it was very difficult to sleep . We also learned that they dont do dinners on sundays. So we changed some long standing plans. Upon asking if they had a shuttle to ski area we were told we needed to walk to the. hotel next door. Something untenable in ski boots. When we got back went to their gym. It was nice. But locker rooms were somewhat unkept and aged out Most disappointing was after our return to the room on day two the room was not cleaned. Upon reaching out they said there was no cleaning services for overnight guests. But if we needed towels they would bring it up. Given there was no dinner we found a place closer to the highway and decided to just headed home. We wanted to love the inn. But from our viewpoint if they want to remain the wonderful experience we expected they need to reconsider there amenities for folks looking for a memorable few days

4/10 Fair

The pots and pan suck, the upstairs lights didn’t work and the bathroom with twin beds were clogged and unusable. Staff was ok but the dining food was excellent. My spa massage could’ve been better. The staff at the spa could of been more helpful. I felt like my kind wasn’t welcome in the town.

Could of been warmer in April

It was our first time in the castle itself, usually we stay in the lower hotel but the rates were comparable to the least expensive so I booked one night in the “castle”. The only complaint we really had was the heater in the room was controlled from a thermostat that was down the hall and was for the entire building so our room was either cold or way too hot even with the windows open in late April. That being said it was only when you were getting in or out of the shower and getting ready for bed. I understand it’s a very old building that needs to be reserved, however a mother form of heat source would have been better. I will stay here again though we will be prepared the next time with extra clothing. My wife was cold, you know women are often cold so I would have liked more heat control for her sake, call me over protective lol. The shower water would change from hot to warm then cold then hot flashes then warm then cold and it stayed cold for a bit so we got out for 15 min then it was hot again long enough to shower. Al in all it was a 4 out of 5 type of stay. The hot tub was great over at the spa:!!
