Hotel is tired, needs refurbished. Carpets and soft furnishings in desperate need of cleaning. Pillows and beds are rock solid, bathrooms are dated. Staff are great and always helpful. It’s not a cheap stay at the Crown Plazza, I doubt I will return till improvements are made.

We had a lovely room overlooking the river, would recommend paying the extra for this. We were going to a gig at SWG3 so the location was so handy. Good location and good buffet breakfast. We had a suite and it was too hot to sleep. We asked reception 4 times over 4 days to have maintenance look at the cooling in the room and nothing was done. I couldn’t even sit in the room to read a book. The car park was confusing for visitors so watch out you don’t get fined!
