Good but kind of old hotel
I think the hotel condition is not very good, seems old. I think there are better options to stay in Lima. Anyway it wasn't a bad experience, service of the hotel is good. Spa is wonderful. Good breakfast. Good room service. Good location close to shopping mall. Room was big enough but dated.

The best
It was wonderful. We stayed in the junior suite which gave us access to the gym, sauna and a lovely room with daily tea time, light lunch and breakfast. This hotel is located in the most perfect area where we could go to Lima downtown in 10 minutes, go to La Punta in 15 minutes, it is central to everything, a nice and safe neighborhood to walk in, the people couldn't be more wonderful.... and the Real Plaza in Salaverry was half block away, which has everything people could need. This is our fourth stay at the Melia, and we will keep staying there every time we come back to Peru.

Pleasant, short stay
This was a one night in between places. It was pleasant, and he service was very good. The room was very clean and comfortable. My only observation: for this kind of hotel, all rooms should have a coffee maker. I found out that only the deluxe rooms had one. All in all, stay was very good, but I don't recommend it for people who want to explore Lima, unless they choose to always take taxis or other means of transportation.
