Beautiful hotel of southwestern feel and the rooms reflect that. I love southwestern vibes and this hotel has everything it reflects Santa Fe. Its location being so close to the famous Plaza is perfect. The hotel has underground parking but it’s really tight, highly recommended for small cars. With one elevator going to the main lobby from the garage and the rest are stairs, getting to the room is tricky because of your luggage, pack light. The on site bar has great drink selection and makes delicious wood fire pizza. Overall, the hotel is awesome and it’s highly recommended.

A block from Santa Fe Plaza and within an easy walk to the Canyon Road arts district, our stay at Hotel Chimayo was excellent. We had a King Jr Suite, which had a fireplace in the pleasant common room. My only complaint is that the thermostats in the room do not adjust the room temperature. At this time, the hotel was providing heat only and it became very hot and stuffy in our room on the last night we stayed.

I picked this particular hotel due to its 1 minute walking distance to the plaza and other places of interest. The staff and the room did not disappoint. The bed was wonderful and so comfy. There could be brighter lighting above the vanity and more transparency regarding the lack of an elevator to the second floor rooms.
