I didn't like our room, 310. I had requested a corner room to have a window but this was an internal room over the breakfast area. The smell of cooking always came into the room and also the noise. Surprised they state this is a superior room. The room was also very dark. The actual building is historic and interesting.

Very high quality and luxurious hotel

Hotel was lovely and situated in a stunning location. Our room was spotless and cleaned to and extremely high standard daily. We had a very small patio which was shared with other rooms, however we didn’t need it as we made use of the Rooftop mezzanine bar which was absolutely fantastic. The breakfast room was a lovely setting also. All staff were very polite and helpful. Only thing to fault was the room was quite small and the hotel weren’t very accommodating with toiletries and milk for making beverages in the room.

Nice room services may need improvement

The room was lovely and grand. The hotel has history and pretty architecture. Classy rooms. Receptionists were nice and informative. They gave us welcome drink on the roof. However, the dining area is closed all day, it is only used for breakfast. There is no room service or food, you have to eat out. no microwave in the hotel to even heat up any food you may have brought home. If you need anything (i.e cutlery or iron) you have to go down and get it yourself. No parking at the hotel, you have to pay and park at an external parking lot which was not mentioned. It is a nice place if all you are looking for is a room and a rooftop to have drinks.

The hotel itself could easily be a 5-star property—rooms are spacious, featuring high ceilings, designer amenities, and intricate colonial-inspired decor. The refurbishment has been done beautifully, making it feel like staying in a treasure cove. The staff are exceptional—always friendly, helpful, and welcoming. The bed was massive and incredibly comfortable, ensuring a great night’s sleep. However, a few aspects fell short. Breakfast was disappointing, with limited options and lower-quality ingredients, more fitting for a 3-star hotel. The breakfast area was often crowded due to limited seating. Additionally, while the rooftop terrace has great potential, it feels unfinished and lacks atmosphere or charm. Overall, this is a stunning hotel in a prime location, but improving the breakfast and rooftop experience could elevate it to the next level.

Loved the hotel but they use the upper bar area for parties for non residents. They are partying on your ceiling and noise of loud thumpy music. High heals stomping on floors and and then noisy cleaning up went on until midnight.

L'hôtel est bien placé dans une rue piétonne, la chambre est propre et bien équipée, le lit est confortable, je n'ai pas essayé le wifi, le coffre fort est grand et pratique, par contre le frigo est mini et refroidi mal ... Les rideaux occultant sont efficaces pour faire le noir, par contre en semaine lundi à vendredi il y a une école juste en face et du bruit dans la rue à partir de 7h30 le matin ..
