We had a wonderful one night stay in a beautiful room facing the fountains and gardens. The hotel is fabulous and we highly recommend it, we only wish we could’ve stayed longer. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the history of the hotel and it’s 100 year anniversary is lovely and intriguing.

This is a five star luxury property! Every detail is on point. Very clean, extra amenities, Our room was large, very clean, deluxe bedding and linens, bathroom was spacious, clean marble floors, shower and separate tub. The restaurant and bar areas were very nice, the food and drinks were great. I would highly recommend adding breakfast to your stay. Nice exercise room and spa. Great location near the train station and walking distance to the old city center, museums and restaurants. We highly recommend the Esplanade Hotel.

Fantastic location and historic building. The staff here really deliver a 5 star experience. The hotel itself has a few blemishes but is undergoing a major refurbishment (not noticeable for guests as it is done in sections and with minimal inpact on guests) We will definitely book this peral of Zagreb at our next visit.

The hotel was gorgeous and conveniently located. The staff were very helpful, especially Mia at the concierge desk who helped us plan our walk around the city. Lovely stay!

The Esplanade is a visually stunning hotel, but what sets it apart is the "old-fashioned" kindness, and helpfulness of all the staff. No one ever gave the impression that they were busy. The over-all impression was that they wanted to ensure we had a memorable experience, and we certainly did Thank you!

8/10 Very good

Great traditional hotel walking distance from the city center. The breakfast is great, and the kitchen is very accommodating to dietary needs, I suggest reaching out in advance if you have any special requirements. The staff are friendly and extremely professional, but the management has let them down as they are severely understaffed. The only thing stopping this from being a 5 star review is the understaffing, if the management fix this the property will be a undisputed 5 star.
