Really easy to access both physically and electronically, instructions were really clear. Staff were very friendly and helpful, they let us check in early and let us leave our bags in the reception area after checking out on our last day. The room was really smart and modern. DO NOT BOOK - WORST SERVICE I checked in at 9pm upon which the receptionist gave me the keycard saying ‘btw the lift is not working and your room is on the 6th floor.’ I was shocked asking him why he would not say it before I check in or notified me by email so that I could look for an alternative hotel. When I said that I wont be able to go up and down the 6th due to health reasons, they tried to give me a smaller room on the ground floor right next to the bins and restaurant, without really offering up any reimbursement or compensation. I had to stay on the 6th floor for 3 nights and they even made me pay for my 25€ lunch and turned away my request for compensation or to cncel the hotel. On top of this, the heating was not working in the room either-BEWARE IN WINTER DONT BOOK!! they are very unprofessional and untrained dont even know if they have any heating, all of the 3 staff members said something different. The manager argued that 21 is enough in winter in the room which I found bizarre as it is up to the client to decide which temperture one finds warm or cold. I made a video of the broken controller of what theh think was a heating and reporting them to hotels.com I cant stress enough how unprofessional this team is in not making up for any bad experience caused by them while charging the client full price! There are plenty of other good hotels nearby!

If you stay at the Bob W in Munich just hope you don’t end up with apartment 001, Right outside the kitchen next door constant noise of plates and cutlery jangling around til late in the evening and if that’s not enough. The cellar below your room will wake you with the delivery of barrels in the morning. If that’s not enough to take your fancy then you can enjoy the rustling or RATS in the bins directly outside your window late into the evening.

What a wonderful Gem in the middle of Glockenbach. I‘m very much impressed by this hotel. The design of the lobby and room are very chic and comfortable. Furthermore, you can always text Bob for any questions via Whatsapp. Also the lady at the reception was very kind. I will definitely book this gem again!

Loved the location! Walking distance to everything. Wish we had the option of booking a room with AC or Fridge, but would stay here again even without those options. We stayed here in June and it was hot but tolerable, especially with the fan they provided. The place was clean, and in the best location- walking distance to tram, bus and train and Marienplatz and the like. The restaurant next door had wonderful drinks!

It is really well located. My room was small, bathroom was excellent. No air conditioning and it was noisy. the whole “tech” check-in is a bit of a drag I was there for 10 days and the cleaning service colleted my trash on the second day and forgot about me. My bathroom trash can was overflowing, They also never bothered to replace the towels after a few days nor properly clean the room. Not the service I expected.

The location was great, close to old town, yet quiet. The check in was contactless and difficult. Be sure to read the email yhat is sent from the hotel. Lastly while the room was clean, it was smaller than the photo of the room i thgought we booked. And if you want a full service cleaning during your stay there is a 35 euro charge for each time, ee stayed for 6 days.

Estadia em Munique

Infelizmente, minha experiência neste hotel foi bastante abaixo do esperado. Durante as quatro noites em que estive hospedado(a), me deparei com uma série de problemas que comprometeram a qualidade da estadia. O hotel não oferece serviço de quarto, não há check-in presencial, o que dificultou a chegada, e também não há local adequado nem equipe para guardar malas — o que foi um transtorno. Além disso, não houve nenhum tipo de limpeza no quarto durante toda a hospedagem. O banheiro, por exemplo, não foi limpo nenhuma vez, o que considero inaceitável para qualquer padrão de acomodação. A estrutura até pode ser razoável, mas a ausência completa de serviços básicos compromete totalmente a experiência. Não voltaria a me hospedar e tampouco recomendaria, especialmente para quem busca conforto, praticidade e um mínimo de atendimento durante a viagem.

A hideously priced youth hostel. A two-night stay cost me over 900 Euros, all for a spartan room with no amenities, and with no service cleaning or making up of the room. The "human-less" check-in was horrendous, with some guests experiencing real problems. Given that they only have a single check-in station, I can only imagine the wait when multiple guests are trying to check in. Definitely an awful choice
