Ich hätte ohne Zögern fünf Sterne vergeben. Das Hotel ist wirklich sehr schön – bis auf die Kissen. Sie fühlen sich an, als wären Kissenbezüge mit Putzlappen gefüllt. Schade, denn mit vernünftigen Kissen wäre alles perfekt gewesen.

Meine Frau und ich fühlten uns hier leider nicht wohl. Die Bettwäsche roch sehr unangenehm nach Mottenkugeln oder Insektenvernichtungsmittel. Dazu hatten wir einen Käfer im Bett. Wir checkten daher direkt wieder aus, ohne zu übernachten. Wir hatten nur für eine Nacht gebucht. Ein Ersatzzimmer wurde uns nicht angeboten. Bei Reklamation wurde dann behauptet, dass Zimmer wäre in Ordnung gewesen und man hätte uns auch ein Ersatzzimmer angeboten. Zuerst schien man auch noch anzunehmen, dass wir übernachtet hätten. Jedenfalls wurde bei Reklamation auf uns nicht eingegangen und diese mit falschen Behauptungen zurückgewiesen. Selbst die Kosten für das Frühstück wurden nicht zurückerstattet, obwohl wir am Vorabend abgereist sind. Wir kommen nicht wieder.

Das Zimmer war geräumig und ansprechend eingerichtet. Es war alles sehr sauber und die Betten bequem. Das Frühstück war ausgewogen, es gab unter anderem frisches Obst und eine große Auswahl an frischen Brötchen. Lediglich der Frühstücksraum ist eng bemessen. Man konnte aber auch im Barbereich frühstücken. Personal war unterschiedlich, einige freundlich und zuvorkommend, andere wirkten etwas abwesend. Für einen kurzen Aufenthalt in Freiburg ist das Hotel auch aufgrund der Lage auf alle Fälle zu empfehlen.

Stadtbesuch mit Weihnachtsmarkt. Food und Glühwein gut, leider hatte der Weihnachtsmarkt am Abend des 27.12.2024 nicht offen und beim Münster fehlten meines Erachtens auch die Weihnachtsstände. Schade!!
