The hotel was in a good location, the room was clean, the bed was nice and owners/managers were very nice and helpful. I’d recommend Maison Cabral to anyone staying in Porto wanting to be with in walking distance of the action but far enough away that you can get some rest. I’ll definitely stay here again if I’m back in Porto.

Susana and Alberto were amazing hosts and made us feel extremely welcome. We ended up needing a late check-in (due to a flight delay) and an early check-out (due to an early flight) and they were really accommodating, arranging our airport transfers for us. The hotel is well situated in a nice quiet street close just a short walk from the city centre. We stayed in the Conguita suite and everything was clean and of a high standard. I’d definitely stay again and wouldn’t hesitate recommending Maison Cabral to family and friends.

We loved our stay at Maison Cabral! Susannah was incredibly kind and helpful, sharing excellent restaurant and tour recommendations and making sure we felt comfortable throughout our visit. Our spacious loft room was in a beautifully restored historic residence and included a kitchenette with a stovetop and fridge, plus air conditioning—especially welcome during our warm August stay. The loft ceiling was low, so it wasn’t possible to stand upright, but the space had a lovely local feel. The property is conveniently located near restaurants, shops, and a grocery store, with a café- and boutique-lined street just a five-minute walk away. Downtown Porto is about a 20-minute downhill walk or a quick €5 Uber ride. We also enjoyed the honor bar and the charming courtyard pool area with lounge chairs. An amazing stay—we would absolutely recommend Maison Cabral!

This is one of my all time favorites. The staff was very, very helpful, sending me restaurant suggestions and things to do, coming in early to help with my luggage and being kind and friendly overall. The spacious well decorated room overlooked a beautiful pool that I did not have time to use (next time). The building itself was a tiled 3 story building on a street of iconic tiled buildings. It was also near a street of restaurants and stores and easily accessible to other sites in Porto. I used Uber but public transportation was nearby as well. Porto itself is worthy of another visit and I would definitely stay here.

Beautiful property! We were only here for a short visit but the staff were truly amazing! Lucas gave us a great dinner recommendation and it was probably the best food we’ve ever had. Beautiful boutique hotel. Everything was wonderful, starting with the superb customer service by Susana. Beautiful room, nice outdoor area to sit or swim in the pool, great restaurants nearby. This is alittle gem boutique hotel in Porto. Susana and Alberto are amazing hosts who go above and beyond to make you feel welcome, comfortable and informed. The hotel is nicely renovated and decorated and Our room was comfortable and kept clean throughout. Maison cabral is a 5-10 min walk into a lively area for restaurants and cafes and perhaps another 10 minute walk into the heart of the old town and river. We loved our stay here and would highly recommend and hooe to return ourselves one day.
