The hotel is absolutely charming, with so many of its original period features beautifully preserved, which made our stay feel even more magical. One of the highlights was enjoying cocktails at the Hemingway Bar while listening to live piano music. The spa was wonderful, with both indoor and outdoor swimming facilities, and was the perfect place to relax. The hotel is also very well located, making it easy to explore the surrounding area. Throughout our stay, the staff were incredibly attentive and always made sure we had everything we needed. A beautiful hotel full of character, and a truly memorable stay.

Very impressive approach and foyer. Opulent public rooms and staff are charming. Our room on 5th floor was rather small. The indoor pool and spa are truly amazing with the outdoor pool and gardens equally well appointed. Food is very good. Drinks are expensive but good. Nicely situated although road noise at the front may irritate patrons especially when dining on the terrace.

Beautiful hotel, staff was friendly and accommodating. Located within a short 10 minute walk to the town center. Breakfast was nice. Mostly pastries and fruit, eggs and bacon. Pool was very nice and the spa was amazing. Food at the hotel was just ok. Portion sizes are small considering the price and taste was just ok. There are lots of great food options just a short walk away. Overall I had an amazing stay and would recommend a lake view room!

This is an amazing hotel in many ways! The staff are incredibly warm and helpful; the location is fantastic --with breath-taking views; the swimming pools and spa are top-notch; the restaurant food and service are excellent. It is an easy walk to Stresa, where we enjoyed shopping and drinks. I simply cannot say enough good things about our stay! I give this hotel my highest recommendation.
