The location of this hotel is fantastic, the staff was amazing and the breakfast was good. The gym was good for a hotel and over all - a nice stay. On the downside was the hard beds and lumpy uncomfortable pillows.

It was a lovely hotel with very helpful staff. The room was comfortable and quiet and the public spaces in particular decorated in a creative way. It’s a very quiet area though and there isn’t immediately much to choose from by way of eateries in the evening - we did find good places but there’s no obvious buzz on the doorstep (which will be good for some!). If you’re happy with walking or public transport this place provides a calm base for seeing the city.

I had the worst possible experience in this hotel. When I came in, they told me they had a system crash and so they had overbooked the hotel. They said they had tried to contact me the previous day, but they could not reach me. So they booked me in a hotel in an area far away from the city center and left me with no other choice. The hotel staff was rude and I even had to tell the manager to not raise her voice at me, as I was explaining my obvious disagreement with the “solution” I was being offered. I had never had an experience like this, as they sent me to another hotel with no confirmation or formal document that guaranteed I was indeed being expected there. So disappointing.

Arrived late and tired, reception looked after us with check in very well. U2 station right outside hotel with easy links all over berlin via Alexanderplatz 2 stops away. Nice walks along river and to Brandenburg Gate and museums nearby. Room cleaned upon request. Nice small gym and a sauna at no extra cost. Would definitely stay here again.
