Visnja and Davo are wonderful hosts. Visnja’s dinners are delicious and plentiful, and the breakfast buffet is great as well. Davo’s drinks, as well as his coffee’s in the morning are great. They provide a warm, welcoming atmosphere, with clean rooms and everything you could need. The Sauna and hot tub are a nice addition. The house is in a lovely, peaceful area only a few minutes from Plitvice entrance 2. Highly recommend.

This is a real find! Tesla’s Gastro House is an endearing inn run by the charming Vishna and her equally charming son, Philip. The inn is set in a bucolic setting off the main road offering beautiful views and tranquility. The hot tub and sauna were a welcome relief after a day of hiking. The homemade dinner and breakfast were incredibly delicious and the servings were very generous. Our bedroom and bathroom were comfortable and clean.

Visjna and Davor were fantastic hosts. They could not do enough to ensure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. We had dinners and breakfasts which were excellent. Food was beautifully prepared and extremely tasty with good options for all food tastes. Room was comfortable, clean and private. Would recommend. Thank you

Incredible. The owners made the most devious dinner for us - would highly recommend the 4 course meal. Best we had in Croatia by far. There isn’t a main check in area, just message the owner when you get there and they’ll come out. Very kind people.

What a gem this place is.

This place is amazing but what makes it really special is the lovely couple that own it. They make you feel so welcome and it feels like they are friends welcoming you into their home. The food is also amazing. Make sure you make dinner reservations and enjoy. You wont be disappointed.

This has to be one of the best places I have ever stayed. We were visiting the national park and I am glad we decided to stay here. I wish we had more than 1 night because the property, hosts and food were all amazing. I would come back to Croatia just to stay here again!

What a wonderful stay! The owners are so hospitable and kind and truly made our stay very enjoyable. We stayed one night and did the Plitvice Park. We dined at Tesla for supper and the food was phenomenal! Don’t miss the dinner and the very generous breakfast in the morning (lots of variety and very tasty). We highly recommend and hope we have the opportunity to return some day.

We had a lovely stay at Tesla’s and we felt as though we were guests in their home instead of a hotel. They thought of every possible detail to make our stay comfortable, the food was excellent, and they were perfect hosts. We would definitely be regular customers if we weren’t 9K miles away!
