8/10 Very good

Modern hotel with wonderful views of Manteigas. Room was rather sparsely equipped and had no fridge or safe. No restaurant on site at present but due to open soon. Nearest restaurant is a good half mile away.Staff very friendly, good breakfast included.

Casa near the coast

Great traditional Portuguese Casa with excellent service from our host.

A fine place to stay, but it’s PR is not helped by the unattractive photo of the indoor pool which is prominent in its advertising. I would suggest a shot of the town of Manteigas from the hotel- a beautiful vista indeed.

6/10 Good

No electric car charger

Was advertised it had charger but was apparently broken. I got promised I would at least be able to plug into wall socket which I did but when I woke up I see they had removed the cable in the evening so the car had not charged at all which caused huge problems. Not happy

Maravilha a repetir

Small hotel with 5* Staff Service

Central: In the middle of Serra da Estrela Park. The staff is very friendly and is always caring about the stay. The room and the breakfast are nice. The view from the hotel is very cool. We think that the hotel can improve your SPA service, starting to offer a indoor warm pool instead of the existing one.

8/10 Very good

Clean, modern, very quiet & tranquil position. Close to town with amazing views. Good breakfast and helpful staff. Loved that all soft furnishing were made from wool from the woollen mill. Would have liked coffee & tea making facilities in room. Also might be a nice idea to have some sun lounges on the roof & not just metal table & chairs.
