Excellence hotel and fantastic location

Amazing hotel, location is perfect to be slightly away from the busy hustle and bustle of the centre but within 15 minutes walk of all the sites. Roof top bar is great and there are plenty of restaurants and bars within a few minutes walk away. We loved the hotel and the breakfast was fantastic the only thing that made me feel unsafe was that there was a person on the 4th floor that was not a guest sitting in the chairs my elevator asking for water being a parent with kids in a separate room it did make me feel uncomfortable not sure if the property has security . This hotel is in a fantastic location, convenient for food, shopping, beach and a great view. Staff were helpful and the breakfast was lovely. Pool is nice although a little odd - very small so booking is needed, saltwater although that didn’t bother us. It’s also very odd to have to wear a swimhat, even google couldn’t full explain why this is needed!

Amazing location on the waterfront and an easy walking distance from many attractions. Hotel was spotless, beds were super comfy, complimentary breakfast offered a wide variety of foods in a beautiful room overlooking the castle. It was off season so was able to receive an upgraded room with a balcony with a partial castle view. Such a bonus! I would definitely stay here again.

At the end of our travels, this location was great for us to recover. We had a room with a balcony. I loved the view so much. The room was clean and spacious- a little sparse but I didn’t mind the austerity. Appreciated the water, free of charge in our room everyday. The breakfast was good - loved the fresh fruit every day with my cappuccino. My only wish was they had robes. We will remember this hotel fondly.

Our only complaint was that we could strongly smell cigarette smoke the entire eveningour room. Our windows were closed all day and night, but it seemed to be coming in from the vent if that's possible. We appreciated the free water, but wish the fridge could have been a bit colder. The room was huge and bathroom spacious, too. All the staff we spoke with were so friendly. The pool booking was easy and the pool area was nice.
