The apartment is beautiful and in a great location on the water. However, We didn’t get a lot of information from the host. Check in was confusing. We used a bartenders phone to call and ask how we are supposed to check in, since they didn’t send a code. They gave us the code, but when we arrived, we didn’t know which pad to use enter it. We didn’t know which apartment. We tried calling the host on the app, but no one answered. They had sent 2 numbers in a message but as our phone was not local and only data, we couldn’t call those numbers. We finally figured out how to get in. But didn’t know how to work the shower. And every time we touched the shower head it would fall off the wall. We had never seen a shower like that before. So we avoided showers. I also didn’t know how to work the laundry machine. And there was no information given about parking so we got a parking ticket. There is one tiny sign on the street that says no parking. But as it was late and the sign was nowhere near our car, we assumed it was okay. The apartment was beautiful, but the we kept finding ourselves frustrated and even though I messaged the hosts in the app, I didn’t get a response, and because we don’t have local phone numbers, we didn’t feel like there was a way to contact them or ask questions. A lot of it could have been avoided with some clear information up front.
