Excellent hotel with great restaurants, gym, pools (heated and non-heated) and spa. Service was fabulous and rooms were large, clean and very comfortable. Only negative would be that the shuttle service was very expensive compared to Uber.

Our presidential suite was absolutely superb with a great view over the golf course. Everything in the room we could have wished for, plenty of space and huge dressing room. The staff in check in were friendly and informative. They presented my 4yo with a teddy and rose which made her day. We ate lunch, breakfast and dinner in Nova. Food was big portions and very flavourful would highly recommend. I had a massage at the spa which was relaxing, a really pleasant area. All facilities were spotless.

Our stay at the hotel was truly exceptional from start to finish. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with such warmth and genuine friendliness that immediately set the tone for the rest of our visit. A special thank you to Zama from Guest Relations, who went above and beyond to make our experience memorable. Her attention to detail, professionalism, and kindness truly stood out — she is an absolute asset to the hotel. We were also incredibly grateful that the hotel accommodated our early check-in request, which made our travel day so much smoother and more comfortable. It’s these thoughtful touches that really elevate a stay from good to unforgettable. Overall, the service was outstanding, the atmosphere was inviting, and the team made us feel genuinely cared for. We would absolutely return and highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a warm, welcoming, and seamless experience.

World Class Experience

I stayed at The Houghton during an epic, solo birthday trip that took me to Paris, Cartagena, Cape Town, and Johannesburg. The Houghton was by far, without question, THE BEST place I stayed during my trip. Wonderful & attentive staff, great food, top tier cleanliness, a heated indoor pool, and more. I cannot complain. I look forward to returning again and again!
