Ok stay but everything is falling apart
Condition of rooms extremely tired. We stayed twice within the space of 2 weeks and both rooms were falling apart. Musty feeling, dark due to only one light in a big room, with small lamps, carpets in bad condition, doors and furniture falling apart and bathtubs losing their ceramic. One of our rooms had a minifridge that didn’t work, and a safe that didn’t work and was also not secure, you could Literally pick it up and walk away. The lobby and communal areas all look great and re-vamped, it’s just the rooms. Overall stay was ok, it was the cheaper option and a comfortable bed to sleep in but would consider others before going back.

I've traveled all over the Caribbean, US, and Europe and never had such an awful checkin experience. We arrived at 6:30pm, well past the 3pm checkin time. The front desk attendant, Camille, told us our pre-paid room wasn't available and to come back later. We came back at around 8pm.. she given away our room & didn't offer any reasonable alternative except a single queen room for 3 adult women! After much angry discussion, we took a king room with a cot. The interaction with Camille made me wish I'd never come to Trinidad. Fortunately at 5am, another desk agent got us into a double room. It seems the lack of availability was due to rooms not being clean. During the stay we had to request towels because housekeeping didn't have them when cleaning the room. The Radisson's management & staff seemed ill prepared to host Carnival guests, but were eager to charge $600/nt. The bartender had to Google the recipe for a long beach ice tea. The hotel is in need of renovations. I'll never stay there again.
