This location could not have possibly been better. It’s in the best part of town to stay to get to know the city. The unit itself is very large and comfortable, with two bedrooms, a living room/kitchen, two bathrooms, closet, space and a washer and dryer.

Loved this place. Probably the best location in the city. Beautiful building. The apartment was perfect in so many ways. There were a couple of small things but nothing worth mentioning. If we went back to Montreal, we would definitely stay here every time.

This was a great apartment. We had two bedrooms and two baths for two people. It’s in a great location! Very close to the Notre Dame. We were able to walk to the Old part of Montreal. And the buses and metro were close by.

Great place right in the center of old Montreal across the square from the Notre Dame Basilica. Ideal location and close to a lot of restaurants, coffee shops and the riverfront. Property was clean and modern, and the instructions were clear and helpful. The host provided prompt responses to my queries. Would stay there again.

The location is unbeatable—right in the heart of Old Montreal, making it so easy to walk everywhere and enjoy the area. The staff were super excellent, incredibly welcoming, and helpful throughout our entire visit. We honestly loved everything about this property and can't wait to come back!

This location is excellent, many walkable cafés nearby. The apartment is secure and quieter than expected. Fantastic to have the use of a full kitchen, much appreciated and is the reason I chose this property.

The accommodation is very nice, however it was not equiped properly for our stay. The appt we booked could accomodate 8 guests however there were no bed sheets, pillows, or towels for 2 guests. All the closets were locked so we could not locate any additinoal items. The host took a while to respond to obtain these items and told us to go to the storage unit ourselves to get the items. This is not the experience I would expect from a "hotel".

The apartment was perfect. Very spacious/clean and comfortable. Directly in the center of old town/walk to everything in minutes: liquor store, groceries, restaurants, bars, bakeries, souvenirs, attractions all in a minutes walk. An absolute perfect location for a tourist.

Excellent location….centrally located to everything plus magical feel next to Basilica. We rented 3 rooms super apartment….kitchen was nice and bathrooms and rooms. I only found that 1 bedroom didn’t have vent and was warm at night so needed portable fan, which we bought, and the WiFi was very choppy so difficult watching movies. Otherwise everything was great. Highly recommended

Location: The best thing about this apartment hotel is its location. It is located right in the historic place d’armes square and there is always beautiful music playing. It is located in old Montreal and you can walk everywhere. There is fabulous coffee/gift right next door and great places to eat and shop right at your footsteps. The building: The building is very secure, you will need to enter three different codes to access your apartment. The apartment: Our 2 bedroom apartment was spacious and clean. We had a nice view of the hotel place d’armes. Two bathrooms were amazing for our family with young kids. And the washer and dryer worked well! Laundry pods are provided. The beds were super comfortable. If you need towels or anything , one time we got a super fast response (towels and pillows) and another time (broken toilet seat) no response. The rain showerhead was also not working in one of the bathroom but the handheld was fine. The bathroom drawers were also not fully functioning. All minor things but if was fully working or if there was a response from the apartment to fix it that would have made it a 10/10 stay! Wifi worked well! Overall, still highly, highly recommend for the location (100/10) , cleanliness and comfortable beds!

Luggage rack addition — A luggage rack in the bedroom off the hallway would be very helpful, as there isn’t currently a bureau or other surface for a suitcase. Extension‑cord safety — The extension cord in this same bedroom is a bit of a tripping hazard. Dish‑drying setup — A dish‑drying rack in the kitchen would be useful since guests don’t always use enough dishes to run a dishwasher cycle. An extra dish towel would also be handy. Missing bathmat — There isn’t a bathmat for the bathroom connected to the bedroom off the kitchen. Electrical Outlet — The electrical outlet just outside the kitchen in the hall doesn’t seem to be working.

Stayed at the 511 Place D’armes for 2 nights. Our group was my wife and I with 3 kids ( 12,10,and 8 ) . The Good: Location, location, location! This was our first time in Montreal so we didn’t know exactly how good the location of this hotel was until we got there. You couldn’t be more in The middle of everything, and this made exploring old Montreal on foot very easy. The unit we rented was a 3 bedroom with 3 baths and was absolutely humongous. 3 bathrooms made pit stops a breeze and the large eat in kitchen made cheap meals at “ home “ much easier. We had heard nightmare stories about parking in old Montreal with height restrictions and lack of space but the hotel has clear instructions on where to go and the 2 options are close by and secure. The main underground they use accommodated my Toyota Sienna van with roof rails ( no carrier ) although it was a bit of a hold your breath and pray moment getting in there. I’m sure it wasn’t as close as it seemed though. Again, I can’t say enough how great the location is. You walk out the front doors right into a square across from the famous basilica. Beautiful The bad: Nothing crazy but more about the little things here.The floors had not really been swept that well. There were holes cut into the ceiling in places that were from repairs at some point. A few towel racks were missing as they appeared to have been pulled off the wall. The dishwasher wasn’t working. Nothing crazy We would 100% stay here again, and likely will.
