I would highly recommend the Barcelo hotel. Close to the train station (Hbf) and easy walking distance to all the sightseeing activities. The hotel has been recently renovated and is spotless clean. Full marks without hesitation.

8/10 Very good

This is my second visit. The rooms are clean and modern. However, the drain in the sink was clogged and the water did not drain well, which was bad. The breakfast buffet is also fantastic. I will visit again next time.

The staff were very helpful and very nice. Interestingly, the young man who was the bartender for the hotel really stood out. Not only did he do his job well, he also looked out for us. When I accidently left my jacket at the table in the outdoor garden, he made sure it was kept securely until I came back looking for it. I couldn't thank him enough! Everyone was extraordinary like that!

8/10 Very good

The biggest highlight of this hotel is its location. It was within easy walking distance of shopping, sightseeing, plenty of dining options, and the train station, making it an excellent base for exploring the area. That convenience is the main reason I'm giving it 4 stars. The hotel itself is modern and well maintained. However, we didn't care for the room design. The shower and toilet were enclosed with frosted glass. While you couldn't actually see through it, it still felt like there was very little privacy, which made the layout uncomfortable for us. Housekeeping could also be improved. During our stay, the shower soap wasn't refilled after the room was cleaned, which was an inconvenience. Finally, I booked through Expedia and have status that included a hotel perk, but nothing was offered or acknowledged during our stay. Overall, the excellent location outweighed the negatives, but there are a few service and design issues that kept this from being a 5-star experience.

Impressive hotel, my automatic choice when I make my regular trips to Dresden. The higher rooms, facing away from the station, are light-filled and great for people watching on the busy pedestrianised street, Excellent breakfast,

Very conveniently located within easy walking distance from the main train station. Staff is friendly and helpful. Hotel seems to have just undergone a renovation. Breakfast offers a decent variety of food choices. The path from the hotel to the historical old town is flat and easy to navigate.

드레스덴 중앙역에서 매우 가깝고 교통이 편리하며, 관광지도 도보로 이동 가능함. 방이 넓고 깨끗하며 경치가 좋음. 체크인이 시간이 걸리는편임.

Rent och fräscht. Verkar nyrenoverat. Utvändigt ser det inte så kul ut men invändigt helt annorlunda. Mycket bra frukost och de har ett samarbete med ett gym, som också var bra.
