The unit was clean and tiny - small but completely suitable for its purpose. The resort was clean and fresh and food was delicious. Staff could only speak French in some instance, which was slightly difficult for us but they made very effort to understand and assist. All round a wonderful weekend at Floralys. "

"Gorgeous hotel in a quiet location, 2 minutes from the beach, friendly staff, on-site spa with great services... It's a little piece of heaven. The only thing I could see that might turn people off is the staff don't all speak English fluently, but as a French speaker myself, I found them to be very considerate and lovely. Definitely worth the price!"

"the Akoya hotel is a great hotel, the pool is amazing, the view is incredible, the rooms are good, the location is super handy to walk to restaurants and the beach.
But let's not kid ourselves, it is not a 5 star hotel, price quality ratio is not the greatest. Now, don't get me wrong we had a good stay, but lamps in the room and in the common areas are not working, walls are worn out and cracking ... not the type of things that should happen in a 5 star, but totally acceptable for a 3 or 4.

"Spacious, well appointed rooms with well stocked kitchen area. Situated on the lagoon where you xan swim. Pool did get a little busy, used mainly by families but generally managed to get sunbed on the beach. Staff were exceptionally halpful and friendly, making us feel very welcome."

The kitchen/dining area is fantastic for sorting out your own meals if you choose to do so, great swimming pool for lounging around also if it's too hot on the beach. "We had a wonderful stay at Le Saint Alexis. The location was perfect and the beach access was exceptional! Our room was very comfortable and had a beautiful balcony overlooking the pool area. We were three adults traveling - me, my husband, and our daughter. I was pleasantly surprised with the spacious room. The main bedroom was separated by doors to the living area, with a pullout couch for our daughter. The staff were always helpful. The security guards were happily willing to open the upper gates for us when asked so we could park our car closer to our room. The buffet breakfast was excellent and Celine always greeted us with a smile & great conversation! I would highly recommend this hotel to those traveling in the area!"

We were allocated a bedroom on the 4th floor with a rooftop terrace which was a lovely surprise. The bedroom and bathroom were very spacious and of a nice design."
"Well appointed, clean and charming little place with extremely comfortable beds. Was a delight to rest there after a very long day of exploring the island. Sylvette (the owner) was kind enough to wait for me after a late arrival due to flight delays, but it is important to communicate with the hotel if you’re going to be late as the reception closes at 8pm (it’s a quiet, isolated and sleepy little town). All in all, great experience with very friendly, laid-back but courteous service. Many public amenities and facilities located within walking distance from the hotel and staff are happy to recommend them. "

The rooms were super clean, we didn’t see a single bug (which we were expecting). Had a gecko in the room who lived behind our tv who may have managed the bug situation.

"My stay was marvellous. I added my boyfriend to the stay but he couldn’t make it due to documentation and I had completely forgot about it, upon arrival the room was decorated with rose petals and a fruit hamper style plate which I LOVED. I really appreciated the touch even though my boyfriend couldn’t make it, this helped put a smile on what was a disastrous day. All the ladies at reception well kind, helpful and accommodating. I can not wait to visit again and this time for longer. "
