"This place is very convenient for a visit to Hyde Hall. The four rooms are separate from the Pub where a very good breakfast is served. The room we stayed in was spacious and the bed comfortable."

"Staying here was good. Location was fine. The room was functional and clean. Shower was not great lack power. Air conditioning was very useful but I did find the slight damp smell after use. Parking is an issue as no onsite parking, you can park outside the other pub down the road. Otherwise you have to park after 7pm on the roadside and move before 9am. You need to be able to climb steep stairs and be aware of low ceiling heights. But overall a pleasant stay."

"Phenomenal venue in a beautiful secluded location. Rooms were extremely well presented, clean and finished to an extremely high standard with great access to on-site gym and hot tub. Local amenities easily accessible (but you will need a car) and on-site staff all very friendly and helpful."

"Did not stay in the Hotel but an associated property in a road behind. It worked out really well as you can park free after 6pm as long as you have moved the car before 9am. Room was big and comfortable but slightly musty stale. The staff really friendly and very good breakfast. Really good for a busy on the front hotel."

"Excellent stay again. Staff very friendly. Lovely food. The hotel was really busy as they had two weddings during our stay. The cleanliness however was not up to its previous standard. "
"I had a really nice stay at The WoolPack Inn. I liked the way the room was decorated and it was lovely and clean. Daily housekeeping too which was great. Staff were really friendly and happy to help. Only small downside was that the room was pretty small - no wardrobe (just some hangers on some pegs)/vanity area. However, this didn't affect my stay. The tea tray/mini fridge was well stocked with everything you'd need!
There is very little sound proofing so it can be noisy - however when I stayed the nights were pretty quiet."
"This is an amazing hotel -- and restaurant. The owner is a very kind person and they care enormously about the standards in the hotel and restaurant. Amazing hotel!!"
"Located behind "Kind of Spice" so type that in when looking for this place. No lift in the annex building, which is where our room was (2nd flr). Otherwise, kind staff and clean rooms. Complimentary bottles of water at the FD, just ask. Breakfast selection was fantastic; you can pay the night before and save 4bucks compared to the day of. No dinner service, but the bar is open in the evening from 5:30- 10:15pm. "King of Spice" (curry) is right around the corner, so we had dinner there instead. NO a/c. -JB from Cali"
"Wonderful staff who were very accommodating. We got a free upgrade and enjoyed the view of the sea. We got room service and were served generous portions. Breakfast was delicious! Absolutely would stay here again if I was in the area."
"Loved the four poster bed. Room very comfortable and excellent shower. Great breakfast choices. Accommodation very convenient for town centre. Will stay again"
"I expected to be in the annex, but the room was very good and had a balcony.
Food was excellent, generous portions.
To be honest, I thought the wine was a bit pricey.
Very nice garden, and plenty of parking.
The hotel is a training hotel, so the staff are knowledgeable. "

"I had a really pleasant stay at The Ship. The room was compact but spotless and well-organised, with a comfy single bed, en-suite bathroom, TV, and a side cabinet stocked with tea, coffee, and biscuits—such a thoughtful touch. It had been a long time since I’d slept in a single bed, but it was surprisingly comfortable and perfect for a good night’s rest. I’d definitely stay again and would recommend it to other travellers looking for a clean, cosy spot with all the essentials.
