"Very clean and cozy place! It's a self check-in, but everything is straightforward and the owners are reachable if you have any questions. The bathroom is shared and you may hear everything that's happening beyond your room, but we had a very nice and thoughtful neighbors. After a 10hrs hike this place had everything we needed, and the views in the morning were absolutely stunning! Definitely want to come back for a few days with the family."

"We had an amazing three-night stay at Ledgerock Lodge. From the start, Mr. Rogger and his son made us feel right at home, like part of the family. "We had the best cabin maybe, Hemlock. I can't comment on all of them, but our friends' was smaller and darker inside. Hemlock was great. It has a good kitchen. "

"We stayed one night at the hotel for a hiking trip. The hotel is in a great location but it is not within walking distance of the shops in Placid. It’s is clean, quiet, safe and reasonably priced. We didn’t get to use many of the amenities because we were out before breakfast. There wasn’t a fire in the fire pit and looked there wasn’t one in a while. The pool had both hot tubs broken. Once fixed the pool would be great. The weight room was small but had the stuff to get in a decent workout if...
