"Just checked out of the Dunalastair Suite, and I can't help but feel a wave of emotion wash over me at the thought of leaving this enchanting haven. This gem nestled in the majestic mountains of Loch Lomond is nothing short of a paradise, and I truly hope to return someday never say never, right? The hotel itself is a masterpiece, surrounded by the soothing embrace of the river and breathtaking scenery that captivates the soul. Every corner of this place is immaculate, reflecting the care and attention to detail that the staff pours into their work. Speaking of the staff, they treated us like royalty! The owner, Surya, went above and beyond by taking time out of his busy schedule to personally brew and serve us some of the best coffee I've ever tasted. It was a delightful touch that made our stay even more special. Eugene, Shannon, and Habanni were simply phenomenal, making us feel like VIPs throughout our visit. Our suite was a sanctuary spacious, well-stocked, and thoughtfully equipped with everything we could possibly need: water, coffee, snacks, plush robes, and so much more. If you’re a nature lover seeking daily adventures, this is the ultimate destination. The tranquility and beauty of Loch Ronnach will leave you spellbound. I can’t recommend this hotel enough!"

"This hotel is a peaceful escape right in the heart of the mountains. The views are absolutely stunning, and the fresh mountain air is so refreshing. The staff were kind and welcoming, and the room was warm, clean, and cozy. It’s the perfect spot to relax, hike, and disconnect from the noise of everyday life. I loved every moment and would definitely come back!"

"We can’t say enough good things about our two night stay. Staff were so incredibly welcoming, kind and thoughtful. We had dinner the first night and wished we could have done the second too but had theatre tickets. Food was 5* both in flavour and presentation. We had the pleasure of meeting Ann the owner over dinner and the chef that evening , Charlie. Post dinner we sat by the fire where front of house immediately added more firewood. We also had the pleasure of meeting Angus, Ann’s son who was a funny and helpful young man. I am thrilled that this is where we started our trip."

"We have travelled the world but this was one of the best places that we have stayed at. The location was just perfect: Right next to Loch Tay and Tay river and beautiful hills on two sides. Kenmore village is just a few minutes leisurely walk over the bridge and it’s so beautiful and serene. This is one of the best places if you want to relax and get away from the hubbub of a city life. We stayed at Rivard lodge and it was a 3 bedroom, 4 bathroom super comfortable luxurious lodging with full kitchen. It also has a large sitout deck on the upper floor with comfortable outdoor furniture and a barbecue. Every bedroom has a small TV and the two living rooms have full sized TVs. The backyard is fenced and so safe to let your pet out without worry. Mains at Taymouth also has a golf course which we could not use unfortunately as it rained on the day we had planned to play. There is a very well stocked shop in the complex open all 7 days. There are 3 good restaurants : Courtyard which is in the complex itself, Waterfront (with excellent Loch views) across the road in Kenmore Club Hotel, and Ferryman’s Inn which is just 5 minutes drive away. We loved the latter two more because they are next to the Loch. Aberfeldy is just 6 miles away and has more eating options and also fuel station and larger stores like Co-op and ASDA. All in all, a lovely stay and we look forward to visiting again. "

"Atmospheric bar & restaurant, beautifully appointed room. Breakfast was incredible! I looked forward to my smoked salmon every morning. Husband had the vegetarian breakfast and said it was also excellent. I liked the system of selecting breakfast the night before. The town is super walkable with location next to the peaceful & romantic waterfalls. Outdoor tables packed with people gave it an energetic but casual hub-of-the-village vibe. Hallway carpeting (with old water stains?) and walls showing some wear & tear, but nothing that impaired function or charm. Good value. "
