Afforable and quiet during the day. After hours Dj and club atmosphere kept us awake till 3am. We walked thru court yard after a night at casino and smell of weed was so bad and i like the smell, families with small children this place is not for you.

Pros: quiet side of the island. Affordable place to stay. Quick access to beach. Staff helpful when present. Cons: music playing all throughout the night even though no one is there. Amenities are closed the first half of the week. Free bikes are in rough shape. Concept is starting to show its age. It used to have a fun hostel vibe with people in the common spaces and came alive at night. Hardly saw a soul over 4 nights and not a single person used the pool.

It’s a nice stay the outside is beautiful, the lobby is nice and clean , staff very nice… the only thing is I wouldn’t recommend a long trip staying there, I’ll say 2 days maximum. The family standard rooms with the bunks, the beds seals was very dusty, lights kind of dim. For the price of the hotel the stay was nice and close to majority of specific areas.

We really loved the vibe at Freehand. The staff were extremely friendly and accommodating, and we appreciated the use of their chairs, blankets, and umbrella to take to the beach. The overall feel of the place was excellent, and we enjoyed its proximity to the Atlantic Ocean. We would definitely stay here again if our travels ever took us back to Miami Beach.

This hotel kind of has a party vibe. There’s a social lounge area by the pool that seems pretty lively at night. There’s private room I stayed in was large and unique, but dated. The bathroom wasn’t great. The location is awesome, very close to the beach and lots of dining options. All Hotels in Miami are very expensive, and this was one of the more affordable options that had decent reviews. I was only there for a night and it suited my needs.
