The overall stay was nice, staff was great. My only complaint is the shower is very loud. And can hear the neighboring rooms when they shower also. We were close to the street and the it was not sound proof as stated.

Great room, great staff and close to a lot of restaurants! The charm of the hotel was very inviting as well. Only small issue was there was quite a bit of traffic noise in the morning

Lovely hotel. Very bouji. Nice big room and despite being on the first floor, was very quiet. Didn't get a chance to use most of the facilities but the coffee and snacks were generous, the parking easy ($19 a night), location great and the staff friendly. Very happy with our stay.

Room was great nice and clean, hotel was so cute! The amenities were great. The staff were very nice! The heated pool was lovely the complementary snacks were sweet gesture. Elderwood was spectacular, if we were getting food or drinks the host and servers were so kind.

My boyfriend and I have stayed here twice now, and really enjoy this hotel! This last time was his birthday and the staff was really awesome about adding some special touches to make him feel special. I think the hotel itself is beautiful— I just love the old Art Deco building and so appreciate that the style is kept throughout. The holiday decor was lovely! Our rooms have always been clean and comfy. The first time we came we did brunch at Elderwood, this time we did dinner— both delicious! Nothing to criticize about this hotel, we love it and look forward to staying again sometime!

Beautiful renovation of an art deco building with so much history, and a stunning rooftop restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating, and friendly staff, such as Dominick and the female server with purple hair, (whose name we didn't get). The pool needs a special positive shoutout-- it's not only heated, but super heated, with very warm water coming out of ports under the water. We were there in January, so that was extra nice. It's a small pool, but big enough to do short laps.

Wasn’t overly impressed with the front desk gal. She gave us no direction as to where to go after checking in. We parked the car and headed inside. Took the first elevator as we came in and it put us in what felt like a service hallway. Then we poked around going up stairs with our stuff still trying to find out room. Once inside it was super hot. Super cute room but the high ceilings made it hard to cool quickly. Cute place but probably won’t go back.

Beautiful hotel with very comfortable beds right in the middle of town. Walk to restaurants, coffee, etc just a block away. The pool is heated - you could even swim in winter. You have to pay for parking, but there is plenty of street parking. The restaurant has very good food. Downside: A lot of stairs to go up and down in this historic building. No bathrobes to wear out to the pool.

Very pleasant stay after a day at Sequoia NP. Front Desk staff was very helpful with dinner options. They also told us we could park in the hotel lot instead of the gated area, thus saving us a $19 charge. The high ceilings are a nice touch and the bathroom is terrific!

The hotel is absolutely phenomenal! I would highly recommend staying here and eating at The Elderwood. We stayed in the Darling suite. The room was incredible. The shower was amazing. (No issue with water flowing out, I made sure the curtain was properly aligned.) The windows were so tall and grand. It almost felt like you were in a penthouse suite in NYC. The decor was very classy and masculine. Plenty of room for a bridal party to get ready for a wedding. The espresso maker in the room was amazing as well. There were 2 TV’s in the room. The bedroom was so comfortable. The noise wasn’t bad at all. The room looks south and west over the city. No noise issue from upstairs, but they had that part of the restaurant closed. I highly recommend and we will be back!
