This is a beautiful hotel with a stunning view. We booked a junior suite away from the main hotel, sadly this wasn’t practical and easy with a 17 month old baby as it meant we had to get golf carts up and down. Due to baby schedule this also made it difficult to plan eating during the opening restaurant hours for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Food was okay, i would say lunch is the best from their à la cart menu. The facilities were amazing especially the soft play but if you have a bad back, this hotel is not for you as it’s very hilly and tough to walk around.

Really great way to be introduced to Lake Garda and European full amenity travel. The included breakfast is well staffed and good choices; pool is enormous and water is optimally conditioned/balanced and was very clear and clean even with an extremely heavy swimmer load. We were close enough to Lake Garda to make trips for dinner in either Garda or Bardolino (preferred) quite easy. Do your homework on making lake swimming happen ahead of team - we did not locate a great beach option proximate to Poiana Resort.

Beautiful resort with a disappointing restaurant – head down the road instead! The resort itself is very beautiful. We stayed in a nice Junior Suite with a lovely room. The pool area is great with very reasonable prices at the pool bar, though it tends to get dirty around the pool quickly. There is a free gym, but keep in mind that all other activities cost extra. Also, our room safe had no lock, which we assume you have to pay extra for. The biggest downside was the food. Since the resort is located quite far from Garda, eating at the on-site restaurant is the most convenient option. They offer a buffet for starters and desserts, plus two choices for the first and second courses. Unfortunately, the quality is very poor and really not good at all. It costs €35 per person (excluding drinks) and half price for kids. For one of the children's meals, they ordered a hamburger with fries, but only received two plain burger patties with no bun or toppings. After two nights, we couldn't bring ourselves to eat there anymore. My tip: Walk 900 meters to Ristorante Stafolet instead! We had the best meal of our entire holiday there—delicious meat, pasta, and pizza for the same price as the resort. Lastly, housekeeping was a bit sloppy, as they forgot to replenish both shower gel and coffee in our room.

Resort is far from town, only restaurant on the resort charges €30 per person- no other options. Wait staff unfriendly, waited very long for service, not accommodating. Resort has free shuttle to town but limited hours, asked reception about taxi service was told limited taxi service but once in town could get taxi easily. Setting is beautiful, nice pool but terrible service, not for people with mobility problems. Would not recommend, overpriced. Had to pay extra €5 per person to sit out on the restaurant terrace!

Beautiful resort, room was really nice with an excellent view of the lake. Really enjoyed the pool area. The "shuttle bus" back and from the town is a 7-person seater car that runs every 20 - 30 minutes during certain hours of the day. The latest being 6:30pm which can be annoying as after this hour you rely on taxi's that charge like a tenner per head, despite a 10-minute drive. It was really frustrating as there's no queuing system in place, so you could be waiting a few trips from the driver to get a seat, people who's been waiting 5 minutes will push and shove people who has been waiting 40 minutes. Also, my family was staying at the resort due to my father getting married in the next town. We asked the reception if it was possible for them to arrange for a taxi for us at 11:30am the following morning, they said no problem. The next day there was no sign of the taxi, asked the girl behind the counter if she could call the taxi company and see where it was, she did, and we were told it would be 10 minutes due to traffic. More time went on and no sign of the taxi, we asked the girl behind the counter for an update from the taxi company and was just being told "traffic" with shrugged shoulders without calling the company. When we tried to explain it was my father's wedding, which he may now be late for, she just looked at us with smiles and a hand in the air. Taxi arrived 45 minutes late.

Der Empfang war freundlich und such meine vorab genannten wünsche würden erfüllt. Das Resort ist gut gelegen und es gibt einen Shuttle täglich den ganzen Tag zum Zentrum Garda und zurück. Man kann viel unternehmen. Toller großer Pool, Tennis, Golf und vieles mehr. . Unser Zimmer lag im Haupthaus und das war gut. Die Anlage streckt sich den Hang hinauf und wenn man nicht gut zu Fuß oder älter ist sollte man vorab klären was es für möglichkeiten gibt. Da dort auch viele Reisebusse ankommen ist auch das Restaurant und Bar gut besucht. Das Frühstück war sehr gut aber eines würde ich definitiv ändern. Das Rühetei war das schlimmste was ich je gegessen habe in einem Hotel. Die Konsistenz war dickflüssig bis breitartig. Daher auch nur einmal probiert. Jeden Tag angeschaut ob es besser wird aber nein es war immer gleich schlimm. Es ist eigentlich komisch das so etwas von der Küche überhaupt rausgeschickt wird. Wir waren 5 Nächte da und hätten gedacht das es vielleicht mal ne kleine Abwechslung gibt. Aber jeden Tag Pilze, dicke Bohnen und Speck zum Frühstück. Aber sonst sehr gut. Das Zimmer war groß und es gab genug Platz im Schrank. Super Dusche . Ich kann das Hotel auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen..

dit was de 4e keer.. in Poiano. De laatste x was 17 jaar geleden. Echt in 36 jaar is er geen Euro uitgegeven aan de accommodatie. Had men bijv een hagel of schaduw-dak voor de Parking gemaakt was dat een pluspunt Als familie hotel -appartementen complex, uitermate geschikt. zeer groot zwembad.,tennis/ padel banen, golfbaan voetbalvelden en spa. Wij hadden een junior suite geboekt, als je slecht ter been bent moet je hier niet heen gaan, het hele complex loopt behoorlijk steil, en van je kamer naar de onbijtzaal of zwembad is een hele klim. Je hebt een auto nodig. Complex ligt 4 km buiten Garda. Kluis is aanwezig, maar 36 jaar oud. Gehele slot draai je er uit. Het zwembad gaat ook bij heet weer om 18 uur dicht. overigens je zag bijna niemand in het water. voor mijn gevoel was het 12-15 graden echt veel en veels te koud. Er is een telefoon op de kamer aanwezig, maar geen kaart met welke toets je naar de receptie of andere diensten moet bellen. Tv staat voor de kapspiegel terwijl er meer dan genoeg ruimte er tussen is om met beugels aan de bij de muur te bevestigen. bent ook verplicht op je bed te kijken terwijl er een bankstel staat. je kunt niet eens je labtob goed kwijt. echt een misser. Geen strijkplank bijv. 2x plastic bekertje geen vergrootspiegel en geen badjassen in de badkamer..Ontbijt is netjes, ik heb elke avond in Garda gegeten. . Vele malen beter. Al met al een net hotel maar voor het bedrag wat je in het naseizoen betaald, zeker echt geen 4 sterren waard
