Good hotel

Our stay was fine. The room had comfortable beds and a brand new TV, but no updates in the bathroom, but it was acceptable.

The pictures are nothing like what is actually there. The breakfast was one cold cereal and whole milk. I think the sheets and towels were clean

First time staying here. The staff was outstanding and my particular room was clean, comfortable, quiet and overall very pleasant. I would definitely stay here again and based soley on my experience, I would recommend this hotel to others.

We stayed 2 nights. Breakfast was cereal and granola bars, and one morning they actually had some bananas. No working ice machine, and the pool looks like it is on a permanent vacation. The refrigerator in our room needed to be defrosted, and the door would not shut tight, so we could not use it at all. The beds were comfortable, and the bathroom was okay.

Hotel needs remodeled and it would be exceptional.

The hotel really needs remodeled. The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. It was by far the most comfortable bed we had slept in on our trip.

2 floors, no elevator, lucky to have a room on 1st floor for 97 year old mother but our room was far away on 2nd floor. Our faucet leaked, the toilet leaked and puddled around the base, the toilet also ran constantly. There was no remote for tv. Complimentary breakfast was not what the website stated. Milk, cereal, bananas, tangerines and very bad coffee that we could not finish. We went to Perkins. My mother's room also had various minor issues. The staff was very nice and accommodating.

We needed an overnight stay. Bed and bathroom were clean but that was about it. Free breakfast was "grab and go" with minimal choices. Property is very old and run down. Staff was very welcoming and kind!

place looked like it was under new ownership. Going under some renovation. No restaurant no pool dirty hallways. The room was clean enough but the brand-new TV on the wall was not completely unpackaged. Was not programmed to work. When I checked out I mentionedd that to the front desk and they didn't seeem to give a damn. Would never stay theree again and it makes me question going through Expedia next time.

First off the staff was very friendly, that was the only thing that was decent about this place. Although I asked if there were any events going on around town and there was a language barrier. Did understand what I was asking. The hotel as a whole needs a major renovation. It looks like the supposed "largest indoor pool", has been under construction until the begin of time. The rooms are very cheaply put together and there are decor falling off the walls. Not having carpets in the rooms is efficient and easy to clean however also not the coziest. The beds were very uncomfortable and the bedding was extremely itchy. We were told there was a breakfast served which in my understanding it NOT a couple bananas, stale cereal and a carton of milk. I have been to quite a few hotels that have had so many more amenities, have had awesome continental breakfasts that are half the price of what we paid for the hotel. If I was scoring this on a 1-5 stars, definitely rate a 2.5 only because the staff was friendly, otherwise a 2 star rating. I would not recommend this hotel.

2/10 Poor

I honestly wish I could give a 0 star rating. This place is absolutely disgusting. Where do I start…Bugs everywhere(my kids felt like there were bugs biting them within minutes…), stained mattresses, no hot water with a scum covered shower head , ac didn’t work, very outdated. The whole building stunk like mold, cigarettes, and shame. There were holes in the wall as well. There is also no elevator, so if you’re handicapped, make sure you ask for a main floor room. The pool was closed and there was no “complimentary breakfast” as listed, which honestly was probably for the better considering the conditions of the hotel. The one positive thing I can say, is the staff was friendly and they were very accommodating to my service dog.

PHONE WAS DEAD IN THE MORNING BUT FOUND THAT THE LAMP ON THE VERY LARGE DESK HAD SOCKETS THAT FIT! MY PH WAS CHARGED FULLY BEFORE CHECKING OUT! THE CUSTOMER SERVICE WAS ABSOLUTELY GREAT! TOP NOTCH, IN MY BOOK! WOULD I GO THERE AGAIN? YEESSS! WOULD I RECOMMEND NORWOOD INN & SUITES TO ANYONE? SURE WILL! PRICING WAS FAIR TO BOTH CONSUMER N THE BUSINESS!! Hotel is being revitalized, we ended up in a renovated room that wasn't quite ready for prime time after looking at two other rooms. This is an inexpensive property undergoing improvements, use this as context for the review. Front desk staff was great, helpful, gave us the chance to look at several rooms before we chose the one we stayed in. The room we ended up in was mostly redone, new beds, flooring, furniture, tv, fridge (still had packing tape inside, I think we were the first to use the room). Clean and comfortable, but there wasn't a trash can, spare blanket, alarm clock, desk chair, or anywhere to hang anything. Another day or two of attention would have helped. We were looking for a place to spend one night, this was fine for the price paid. If it had all the elements we were missing I would have rated this a notch higher, if we had been directed straight to it without checking other rooms then two notches higher. FYI, the first room I looked at was not renovated, but was clean, looked comfortable, I checked and everything worked except the bathroom light which didn't fully light. Second room was renovated but seemed like there might be an issue with the air conditioning. Overall, property was better than recent reviews would have led me to expect, and seems to be heading in a good direction.

The gentleman at the desk was courteous and polite. There was only one pillow per bed (they did deliver a second pillow per bed upon request) no blanket on one of the beds. The toilet was dirty and took at least one minute to flush. I was scared that it would not go down. There was a hole in the bathtub floor and the paint was peeling in the bathroom. There was damage to one wall in the main room. On the plus side, the beds were comfortable and clean. We were offered coffee and limited breakfast. This was an inexpensive room, so i suppose a clean comfortable bed is worth something.

Upgrades needed! Bathroom faucet leaked when water running. Other than that all things worked in room that needed to. Window was not difficult to open. I stayed in a room here in August 2024 and that room the a/c D’s not work and it was extremely hot day/night. The refrigerator in room also did not work. Staff was hard to get ahold of due to motel being almost if not fully booked that night.i understand lack of staff. If that is the case than need to take less guests or make other necessary adjustments for motel/business. Whole motel could use upgrades and remodel. It’s in a good area by local airport. I question how many people may use it that have flown in or flying out… overall yes 1star. This stay was much better than the one I had in August last year and say they deserve the q1 star. If I were to have wrote this in August I would not have wanted to give them any stars.

I feel terrible for the staff. This place is a disaster. Ladies common bathroom had 3 broken toilets. The other toilets didn't have toilet paper. There was no paper towels in one dispenser and the other was crammed. Carpets to the rooms was stained and dirty. The room was NOTHING like the picture. Repurposed furnishings with previously drilled electronic access holes had been hobbled together. The wall lamp was hanging by the cord. HVAC unit was broken. All of this would have been fine but the upholstery on the chairs was gross gross and the smell... Thirty minutes in the room triggered a migraine. It was as if the room had been washed down in Odoban product. Even our tongues went numb from the chemical odor particulates floating in the air. We had to leave. Called it a loss and found a nice hotel to stay in. The staff has been left to care for a mess. The gentleman was apologetic and kind. Regardless, it was impossible to stay there.
