Old Reykjavík charm, modern city pace

Hotel Reykjavik Centrum plays the city’s history straight, with a corrugated-iron facade and interiors styled to echo Reykjavík around 1900. Days begin with a Scandinavian breakfast buffet, and the tone stays cozy at Uppsalir Bar and Café, where coffee, cocktails, and a fireplace set an easy rhythm in the heart of town.

8/10 Very good

There were so many hotels to choose from so I chose one that would be easy to walk to from the bus stop by City Hall. This was a good choice. Reykjavik is a very walkable city and we were not far from anything we wanted to see. Restaurants were right nearby. The room was small but worked for us for a 3 night stay. The room was very stuffy with no air or fan but we were able to open the window. I would stay here again.

Wonderful property and location! You can walk to many dining and shopping options in Reykjavík. The hotel has a bar and a great lobby/atrium area. Everything was very clean and well maintained. Our room was very nice and accommodating for our one-night stay. Would stay here again if ever back in Reykjavík.

Location is excellent for downtown activities, restaurants, etc. No parking onsite, but there are nearby P2 lots/on-street, however, read the costs and times carefully. Breakfast was included with our reservation and it was very good and had many choices. Staff was generally very helpful and nice.
