A wonderful new property! The staff are welcoming and ready to assist in any way possible. The rooms are minimalistic with comfortable beds. The bath products supplied are top notch. We very much enjoyed the breakfast buffet with healthy alternatives even a munuka honey for the overnight oats. Dinner is also lovely although a bit expensive , with a casual atmosphere.

Hotel is nearly opened last month, maybe April 2026, all facilities is not available at the moment except the lobby and the restaurant. The hotel is excellent, and the vibe are good, it’s romantic resort I ever seen jazz music play around the lobby in the hallway😍 staff is helpful and nice. Excellent breakfast with salmon.

Somewhat remote and quiet location. This will be a very nice hotel once construction of the amenities are complete and some of the issues are fixed. The temp control in our room did not work so our room was very hot, especially after showering since the bathroom fan did not work, the room felt like a sauna. Other guests reported the same thing.

There also seem to be communication issues between staff members, with one promising one thing that others do not know about. The hotel just opened this spring. Could not ask for a better location directly on the ocean, watching the arctic terns nesting. Hotel manager was super nice and helpful. Construction is ongoing to finish suites, etc. It was super quiet when we were there. We enjoyed sitting in the spacious lobby looking at the view. Room was nice although a little dark. Excellent breakfast buffet. They have a few quirks to work out. Will be fantastic when done. Would come back.

The review gets a 3/5 because the hotel is NOT READY FOR GUESTS. It will be a beautiful hotel - SOMEDAY. There are no amenities, our room was missing furniture, TV’s weren’t connected, mattresses had no covering, the door to our room was unfinished - you could see right into our room from the hallway, stairs were not done so lift only - there are countless other unfinished items I could list. Minimally staffed, but the ones there were very accommodating. Dinner was good, however the food came out cold.

We were amongst the first few guests at this outstanding new hotel. The location is jaw-droppingly stunning in every direction with sea views on one side and lake/Mountain views on the other. The staff were very friendly and attentive. The room was immaculate with a very comfortable bed and high quality down duvet and pillows. The breakfast was excellent and the set 3 course menu was exceptional. The spa area is still in construction but we were sadly only there for a night so probably wouldn’t have had time to use it anyway. I have no doubt that it too will be superb when finished. I have no hesitation in recommending this new hotel to other travellers and will certainly return myself one day.

We only stayed here for one night unfortunately, would have loved to stay longer! The hotel is visible on the skyline from the road as a futuristic block, simultaneously blending in with the landscape and standing out as a beacon of human presence. It is an incredibly sleek, modern and cool design inside- as well as outside. The rooms are comfortable and clean, with views looking out over the ocean (unfortunatley there was still some construction ongoing when we were staying). Breakfast was amazing and kept us full for a while! We did not explore much of the surroundings as this was a pitstop for us on our way back to Reykjavik - highly recommend to relax and decompress after and before a long drive!

Still very much under construction so there were no real amenities, but the rooms are clearly brand new and there was no construction noise (not sure when they’re finishing the place but we didn’t hear any construction). The staff were very nice and helpful, and the breakfast buffet was great with an incredible view. I recommend not booking Oceanside as the view from the other side (which looks over a lake with mountains in the distance) is even more beautiful.
