Our room was excellent, the community area was well stocked with utensils, cooking and dinner ware. Everything was very clean, comfortable and warm. The patio area overlooking the road/city center was wonderful. Location is fantastic!!! Roughly the center point of the city center, shops and restaurants abound. We were in Iceland two weeks, easily our favorite place. Would definitely rebook here if we were to return. Highly recommended.

Positives - clean room and very convenient location. Negatives - no luggage drop off, no fan or AC, TV didn’t work and no elevator. The place is clean and convenient, but if you’re flying from the US, flights generally arrive early and you will have to store your luggage. There is an automated luggage storage facility nearby, but the cost was about $25 for two medium bags and two carry ons. You will need to rent a couple of lockers. The storage facility is underground in a car park, so you will need to take stairs. Also, at the apartment, you will have to take two or three flights of stairs depending on where your room is. If you’re not into carrying luggage up and down stairs, choose a different location. I wouldn’t stay here again, but if you’re arriving in the afternoon and only have a carry on, it would be okay.

I would give a better score if not for the fact that the hotel was in the middle of redecorating during my stay. I would have thought most hotels close during such a process. The room and the common area was good. But the rest of the hotel was in shambles and smelled strongly of glue. Not a great experience. I also had to ask for the door code as I did not receive this ahead of time (and yes, I did check my spam folder). The issue was promptly sorted out, however. Overall the experience was decent, but at the price I expect the hotel to be neat and tidy, and not in the middle of major redecorating.

Perfect Quick Stay

This property is centrally located in downtown within walking distance of everything. The unit was small but had everything we needed. The only downside is that it’s above a bar which you can hear at night & there’s no private parking so we had to find public parking. I’d recommend this place to a quick, convenient stay.

The stay was great. Loud music could be heard on Friday night until ~4am. Luckily we were on the fourth floor so it was manageable. Bathroom was small but worked. Location was great, but relying on a park house was unfortunate. Distance to popular Reykjavik destinations could not be better.

In the heart of town

Worked well for us. Room B 11 is the bigger room but smaller than an American hotel room and is right at the corner of Rainbow Street. Enjoyed going to Sessions for beverage (just below the room) and the convenience of the kitchen across the hall. The room has hooks on both sides for hanging clothes (no drawers), a mini coffee maker with pods, hot pot, microwave, and mini fridge, very hot shower 👍. Although small… We didn’t spend much time in the room so that wasn’t a big deal. It’s right above restaurants and near pubs so one night was fairly noisy but the remaining three were fairly quiet. Greatly appreciated the staff quick response time & friendliness. No elevator/lift so good to pack light🙂 and 100% can drink water from the tap.

The location is definitely the best part about this place, right in the heart of downtown Reykjavik! Other than that, B14 is okay at best. Check-in wasn't great. Lugging our suitcases up all of those stairs only to have the keypad to our room lock us out(found out the hard way the keypad was faulty and you have to hit a number more than once for it to register) was not a great first impression. Tried calling for assistance with no answer. We had to awkwardly wait in the hall for the keypad to reset so we could get into our room. Once we got in, the room was nice and quaint with a good-sized bed. It was also pretty noisy from the street below. We're young so not a huge deal, but almost wondering if the windows are single pane. One of the bath towels had brown spots on it as well. For how expensive this place was, I would not stay here again.
