Sleep by Iceland’s shifting light

Reykjavik Lights by Keahotels keeps things smart and modern, with a concept design built around Iceland’s ever-changing daylight. The lobby mixes minimalist Scandinavian style with warm light woods and soft cream and grey tones, setting an easygoing base between city exploring and downtime. It also puts two dining options right on the ground floor, from fire-baked pizza to wholesome, health-forward plates.

  • Dining at the doorstep

Two ground-floor spots cover thin, fire-baked pizza and fresh, healthy meals.

  • City and park exploring made easy

Hop on a bike rental and get moving toward downtown and Laugardalur.

  • Rooms with a story per night

Each room matches a calendar day, with art and colors tied to seasons.

Everything as expected. Friendly staff, comfy bed and pillows. The bad point is that shower glass is open, the water runs all around and the floor gets soaked. Good breakfast, that can fits anyone.

The continental breakfast was copious, the location is good, the beds were comfortable and considering how expensive Iceland is the hotel it’s worth the money.

8/10 Very good

The room was clean, bed & pillows comfy, convenient options for charging cellphones without needing an adapter. Decent blackout curtains for the midnight sun, great towel heater was helpful to dry our bathing suits after Sky Lagoon (only a 10 min drive away). Close to downtown London if driving (~45 min walk but not one I would recommend). The breakfast buffet was a highlight, abundant and fresh! Easy self parking. Would stay again!
