Learn more about Amalfi
Dramatic cliffs frame this ancient maritime republic where colorful houses seem to defy gravity along the Mediterranean coast. The magnificent Duomo dominates the main square, its Arab-Norman architecture worth climbing those famous 57 steps. After exploring the Paper Museum (Amalfi once supplied paper to Europe's courts), cool off in the turquoise waters of Amalfi Beach. For a quieter swim, head to Spiaggia Duoglio nearby. Sip locally-made limoncello at a cliffside café while watching boats bob in the harbor. The Cloister of Paradise offers a serene escape from summer crowds, its Moorish arches framing an unexpected garden. Don't miss the emerald light show at Grotta dello Smeraldo, a sea cave that feels like nature's own cathedral.

Hotel Amalfi
"very good location, great breakfast, short walk getting to & from transport"
Grand Hotel Excelsior Amalfi
"Excelente ubicación, fácil movilidad, el hotel te lleva y trae del embarcadero o del pueblo, comida clásica italiana muy bien elaborada, desayuno bufé, excepcional. Vistas maravillosa difícil de describirlas, recomendado !"
Hotel La Pergola
"Really love this property. The view from our room and the upper level Restaurant was amazing. Dinner was delicious and they have a very nice breakfast selection. We toured the lemon Grove and spoke with a gardener and the head chef. They gave us a lot of great information about the plants and vegetables they grow and use for their customers. We had plenty of room in the suite and loved the small balcony that we could sit outside and look at the sea. Salvatore was quite helpful with getting us bus tickets and providing information about visiting Capri. Just to note this place is not close to town or the central area but it’s a good walk or a short bus ride."
Terrazza Duomo
"Great hotel. Staff was super supportive at every step. Location can't be beat. Easy walk to/from the ferry dock. View of Duomo spectacular."
Hotel Aurora
"Perfect location, staff was amazing, breakfast was great and terraces were beyond expectations. Views of the harbor and proximity to town (all flat short walk) were fantastic!"
Hotel Residence - Amalfi
"Staff was great. Very nice and clean. Perfect location. Great breakfast included w great waiters."
Hotel La Ninfa
"The views in the rooms were breathtaking. The lobby is wall to wall Amalfi coast views. The hotel is about a 15 minute uphill walk or a bus ride. Both easy to manage if you're wanting an iconic Amalfi view with your visit. The breakfasts were 10 euro a person and a great deal. We enjoyed getting to have a delicious coffee and ocean view each morning. The staff was particularly helpful. We even saw one desk clerk in the city on his off time, and he still helped us to find the bus! Very kind of him. Our room was rather small, but we didn't mind because the views were so incredible. Not a lot of space for storage. I would recommend the hotel create under bed space or hooks on the wall to help guests store travel gear. Overall a great choice and would definitely return!"
Hotel La Bussola
"Location is excellent very close to the ferry and city center. Rooms with balcony towards the water are the hallmark of this hotel. Hotel provides only two bottles of water everyday. For anything more we have to pay. Never seen this in any other hotel. Also the shower is suitable for folks who want to use the jacuzzi but not very friendly for those who are looking for a normal shower. We have to stand inside a cage like structure to take shower. Also if you are short you will need a ladder to get onto the tub!"
Palazzo Vitagliano
"The room was excellent - very clean and with a beautiful view. The staff were also very accommodating and kind, they helped with our luggage at check in and check out. Having breakfast included each morning made for a great start to the day. I would recommend this accommodation to everyone!"
