Old-soul glamour with gallery-level polish

The 1927 Spanish colonial setting opens with a grand lobby of marble floors, hand-painted tiles, and chandelier glow. Public spaces double as a living gallery, with more than 300 works of colonial art and period furniture. When it is time to recharge, rooms pair antiques with modern comforts and full marble bathrooms, anchored by bold Gihan Tubbeh murals of Andean textiles.

Great place to stay. The hotel itself is historic. My room was comfortable, big; with wonderful bathroom; clean; best quality linens. And above all quiet - it is located in San Isidro and while there is a lot of traffic in the main road the room window faced the beautiful inner patio.
