"Balcony room which was ideal for my wife and as it was a hot day, having air-conditioning in room was very much welcomed. Enjoyed an excellent Dinner and Breakfast on restaurant patio. Lift to all floors in our section of hotel. Friendly and helpful staff and enjoyed our short stay. "

"A very comfortable stay for two adults and our 1 year old daughter. Breakfasts were amazing in quality and size and the staff was so sweet (even with me trying to speak basically non-existent french). The pool is heated and the grounds are beautiful. A great place to explore the basque region of France or to just relax. "

"Had a lovely short stay at Auberge Basque. We took a garden room which was very cute and well decorated. The only downside was it was next to the carpark and road which was noisy and you could only have natural air by opening the back doors - We didn't want to use the air con so at night the room was a bit hot. The 6 course tasting menu was fantastic with some very interesting flavour mixes!"

"The public areas are very shabby and the windows need a good clean. The room itself was basic but clean and the bed was comfy (for 1. 2 maybe not so.) It was nice to have a balcony overlooking the pool which again looked shabby and in need of a good clean. A few mismatched loungers didn’t help with the overall look.
There was no hand soap provided. Had to use the shower gel which was awkwardly placed behind the shower screen. Don’t think this is acceptable.
Restaurant and bars advertised are not...
