"I was asked to commit to a check-in time in advance, therefore when our plans changed and we arrived earlier (4 PM) there was no room ready for us. Air conditioning was not working so woke up during the night sweating with the windows open. Brewed Coffee is only available with the purchase of breakfast(12 euros). A concerning safety situation is that the room number is visible on the room entry card.
The bed was comfortable and the location is good for visiting Mont Saint Michel."

The hotel staff seemed a little surprised when I asked for additional towels. One towel looked like it had dried bird poop on it. Going to a different property to check out was different.
Overall, I loved the experience of being on the rock for the night. If you're looking for modern conveniences and fancy digs, you won't find it here and that's fine. The view...
