The staff were very friendly and extremely helpful. We had a big room, comfortable large bed, walk in shower in the bathroom. The breakfast was excellent and the breakfast room very elegant. Although the room was clean and tidy, I think that it could use a deeper clean around the windows and woodwork as was dusty. Other than that we really enjoyed our stay at this lovely inn. I would stay again.

Biggest gripe was an additional £10 to use the car park! Generally the accommodation was acceptable, if not spotless, but the mattresses were too soft for a perfect night’s sleep. Excellent Indian restaurant nearby and equally good deli/cafe (for breakfast) in the High Street. Would I stay here again? Only if guaranteed a firmer mattress.

Great and friendly check in and check out. Rooms and public areas are very tired and could do with a good clean. Breakfast, 3 staff chatting, no focus on customers, coffee machine stopped working twice, had to hunt down staff, wait for them to stop chatting, then the issue was resolved.

Firstly, The staff in reception and restaurant went out of their way to be helpful and cannot be faulted. Room was good but felt room and general areas were in need of decorating. Breakfast was ok but hot food looked as if it had been there a long time and most items were run down at 9am. The choice of breads were limited and to be honest breakfast was not worth the price spent.
