Wonderful service and location

Wonderful location to be able to walk Budapest. The front desk was fantastic offering local dining options, places to see with a review of the area on a map. We had a welcome drink on arrival and they always had treats available by the front desk including candy, cookies, pretzels, nuts, coffee, tea, and water. Our room did not overlook the restaurant so it was quiet. I've read some had noise problems overlooking the restaurant.

Amazing hotel

By far my favorite hotel I've stayed at in Budapest (5+ trips). Excellent service, very large and comfortable rooms, best location in town. And a very fair price as well. I will be returning to this hotel next time I visit Budapest.

Wonderful Hotel in Budapest! Highly recommend

Stories Hotel in Budapest is one of the most welcoming, beautiful and charming hotels we ever stayed in. Everything is top notch! We stayed in a famiy two story room which was lovely, had comfy beds and a nice bathroom. The breakfast was amazing. One of the best ever in fact. A la carte with unlimited refills of coffee (the cappuccino😋) and juice. Must also mention the staff at reception and in particular Haya who went beyond to help us with booking tours and coming with suggestions. Such lovely staff. I myself has travelled around the world visiting over 40 countries and this hotel is definitely up there in my top five. Thanx a million from Patric with family Sthlm Sweden👍👍👍

The staff were really friendly which I can’t fault, and the hotel was nice and good value for money overall. Location was great. The bathroom had a real drain issue though which I guess is to be expected with no window in there and poor ventilation but it smelt really bad (to be fair though we didn’t raise this to staff). The sofa was also quite uncomfortable and the tv remote didn’t work which we did raise but it wasn’t fixed. But for what we paid I thought the hotel was good value!

The advantages for the accomodation are the top location and the trendy atmosphere, especially for younger people who can appreciate some good party vibes. The main disadvantage was the restaurant inside the hotel, which played very loud music on weekend evenings till late at night. For bad sleepers this can be a real bummer cause the rooms are not well isolated.

Staff were excellent and friendly. Ambience, the decor, I mean everything. This was better than some of the 5 star hotels I have stayed. I stayed only 2 nights and wished if I could have stayed more. But if I get a chance to visit Budapest again, I won’t be searching any other hotels, it will be this same hotel.

This hotel has a great location. The rooms are perfectly fine for a few day visit. My shower in the bathroom was very large and felt luxurious. The Air conditioning in my room worked great. The only complaint that I have is that my room did not have a coffee maker. Apparently, this was noted in the room details but it seems like a standard feature for most hotels. There is a coffee machine in the lobby, but nice to have one in your room as well. There is a fantastic restaurant on the first floor of the building that the hotel is in that is a must try! Great food, service and atmosphere.

En besvikelse men med trevlig personal!

Hade höga förväntningar på detta hotell då den har fått så bra recensioner. Har bott på många hotell i Budapest men detta var en stor besvikelse! Läget är fantastiskt och personalen med men rummen var slitna och opersonliga! För övrigt rent men lite snuskigt med sliten heltäckningsmatta och lite skräp bakom sängen. Kommer tyvärr inte återkomma!

Presidential suite er en treetasjers suite med en spennende fargekombinasjon og noe for seg selv! Det er to flotte soverom, to ba, et toalett, i tillegg er det jacuzzi, dusj og sauna i øverste etasje. God plass til ekstra seng i 1 etasje. God plass i 1. og 2. etasje til avslapping, brettspill og bespisning. Dette er noe av de beste hotellet vi har opplevd. Fantastiske damer i resepsjonen, fra Jordan og Spania som var råe på service! En morsom resepsjon med goodies! Svært stille hotell, ingen lyd fra byen. Restauranten i 1.etasje er superflott, men kostbar om du vil spise frokost/lunsj/middag. Ikke egen restaurant til hotellet. Hit vil vi tilbake!!!!

Men det som verkligen gjorde vår vistelse oförglömlig var den underbara personalen i receptionen. Så vänliga, hjälpsamma och proffsiga – alltid med ett leende och redo att svara på frågor, ge tips eller bara småprata lite. Deras engagemang och värme gjorde verkligen hela skillnaden. Ett särskilt stort tack till er – ni vet vilka ni är! ❤️ Rummet var rymligt, tyst och smakfullt inrett med allt vi behövde för en bekväm vistelse. Sängen var superskön och badrummet modernt och fräscht. Dessutom ligger hotellet perfekt till – nära till sevärdheter, restauranger och kollektivtrafik. Vi kommer definitivt tillbaka nästa gång vi är i Budapest – och vi rekommenderar varmt Stories Hotel till alla som letar efter en unik, bekväm och hjärtlig hotellupplevelse!
