Nice hotel and room, with lovely common spaces as well. We did not use the restaurant as ate out in the city including breakfast from a great little cafe van near the V&A but this is a good amenity should you need it Only thing I’d mark this down for is the location - it’s not the nicest walk into the city centre whichever route you take so other hotels are probably better located if you’re arriving by train but this has parking if you’re coming by car

This is a very good property offering a nice place to stay at a reasonable cost. It’s also very close to St. Andrew’s, and much more affordable than the hotels there. Our rooms were clean and very comfortable. There was a little damage to the walls around my window sill, but nothing major. Service in the restaurant for Saturday night dinner was slow. It took 15 minutes to get cocktails. Our appetizers came out with our main courses, and they were a bit cold. We addressed our concerns with the manager, and were given a discount on our dinner, which was very much appreciated. With all that said, I would stay here again.

Our room(309) was very comfort, quiet, plenty space and loved the decor, only negative thing I would say was the bedroom units needed a dust. Overall the staff were very helpful and friendly. We came down to the bar area at 5.30pm to have a drink and a sandwich before heading out to an event and the barman kindly organised the sandwiches for us, as sandwiches usually stop at 5pm. We couldn't get parked in the hotel car park which is £15 a night but the car park about 3 minutes walk away is free after 6pm on a Saturday till 1pm Sunday. Breakfast was good apart from the hot food being a bit cold. Would definitely come back.

We found the hotel to be comfortable, with good facilities and overall were well looked after. Our one complaint was that the à la carte breakfast options weren’t available at the weekend as the chef “would be too busy”, and there was no evidence of that with small numbers in the dining room. We mentioned to Reception over the weekend but not on the Monday as we were checking out. Otherwise the hotel was a good choice.
