The Hotel is beautiful and unbelievable. It is perfectly situated near the center plaza and you can walk in any direction and find food. The room was cute, cozy and it felt great to come back to the room and relax. I couldn't have asked for better hotel. When I come back to Oaxaca, I will be staying here again.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms are really nice and spacious. The pool is more like a fountain than a pool. The chairs are not near the pool so lounging by the pool isn’t really an option. The area around the hotel is really busy but all things are easily walkable from there.

Even though they say they have parking, they actually don’t. They only have 3 spaces. We booked 2 months in advance for 4 nights and the hotel gave preference for parking space to people staying longer. We had to be looking around, because there aren’t many 24 hours parking lots close by.

This hotel is terrible and incredibly overpriced. I arrived after dark and barely could realize l was at a hotel. I was brought in through an allyway into a dingy, dark "reception." I had to pay up front for the 11 night say. After being taken through a completely dark patio to a "junior sweet" that was more than $300 U S per night, I asked to see the gym. One of the main reasons I booked this hotel, was it avdertised a gym. I needed a gym for health reasons and the length of my stay. The gym consisted of a few dumbells and some exercise machines that did not function. For instance, two treadmills that did not even have plugs. Afterwards, I went to the reception to explain all the problems. I negotiated two pay two nights for over $600 US even though I was leaving the next morning to find a new hotel. The next morning, I found and moved to the hotel Casa Hidalgo which was just 4 blocks away. It was excellent. It was new, clean, had a small, but excellent gym and an excellent staff and restaurant. The price was around $200 U S per night!
