Room smelled like intense pesticide spray!

As we arrived at the hotel, the room smelled like intense pesticide spray ... when mentioning this (it was simply NOT possible to stay in the room), the reply was "have you tried opening the window?" After a short moment, we paid full price for "the experience", packed up, and left the hotel driving an hour to Madrid. Upon leaving, another hotel rep said that there was nothing wrong with the room - although an earlier one had already confirmed that the room had been sprayed with pesticide as we immediately after entering the room said that "it smelled like chemicals." A terrible experience all the way, "service" included. Having stayed at hundreds of hotels, and coming to this one from a series of boutique hotels in La Rioja on this same family trip, this was really bad. Luckily the new hotel we moved to in Madrid saved the end or our vacation.

Jeg havde en hund med som de havde accepteret. Dog skulle den blive i bilen hele natten i deres parkerings kælder. Det blev nej herfra. Frygteligt oplevelse, man skulle tro jeg havde været i Somalia. Hold jer langt væk.

Entschleunigung pur

In diesem Hotel war ich für 3 Nächte untergebracht. Das Personal hat in der Hälfte der Zeit gewechselt. Alle Mitarbeitenden waren wenigstens 2-Sprachig, und extremst zuvorkommend. Das kann auch daran gelegen haben, dass ich 2 Nächte lang der einige Gast war – glaube ich aber nicht. Meine Arbeit im nahen Krenkraftwerk war in schneller Zeit erledigt so dass ich die Vorzüge des Hotels ausgiebig geniessen konnte. Nie zuvor war ich in einem Hotel untergebracht wo es durchgehend so ruhig war wie hier. Keine Autos, selten eine Dorf-typische Kreissäge. Ansonsten Ruhe pur. Ich würde jederzeit wieder buchen.
