The Akanthus hotel is an incredibly beautifully renovated boutique hotel. Everything is top quality and the layout of the property is incredible offering a nice pool, decks to relax and beautiful views of the night sky. Easy to walk anywhere in town and parking was close. This place is a hidden gem!!! The location, breakfast, staff were all amazing! It was such a nice place to stay especially the receptionist was very helpful. If you plan on ordering a taxi, they can provide you with a list of estimated price so you won't get scammed!

This hotel is a very quaint and romantic hotel, in a very old and well preserved home. They have a small swimming pool and deck, where one can sip their tea/coffee with their lovely homemade cakes and relax with the sunset. Very good service and helpful staff. Serves some delicious breakfast.

We had a wonderful 2 night stay at this small, family run boutique hotel. The room was beautiful with comfortable bedding (mattresses were just right - not too hard, not too soft). There was plenty of storage space in the wardrobe. The breakfast —- with eggs made to order - was particularly good. We also enjoyed a nice afternoon at the pool. The staff were very helpful with restaurant recommendations and arranging a taxi to the nearby Ephesus archeological park. We are very happy with our decision to stay at the Akanthus.

A lovely hotel in a quiet location with some lovely views from the front rooms over looking the old town and temple of Artemis. Parking is on the street nearby but these are very quiet and there are plenty of spaces. The hotel its self can be difficult to find as tucked away down a side street. Easy walking to local sites restaurants and a few small shops. Staff very welcoming and helpful.
