The staff are always friendly (and we’ve been staying here for 6 years now). The breakfast is very generous and the rooms are well maintained and large including en suite.

Wonderful hotel. Welcoming staff. After an awful stay in Brugge, this was exactly what we needed. Middleburg is a great little city. This hotel has real charm. The room is lovely, spacious and well equipped. Quiet location just on the edge of the town but lots of great places to eat within easy walking distance of the centre where there is lots to see and do. Great breakfast (pancakes especially good). Highly recommend this one and would stay again if in this part of The Netherlands.

What a nice hotel. Great location, nice, but well kept old building in a great neighborhood. It was like staying at my grandma's house for several days. If you're looking for a nice hotel, this is it

Lovely place the only negative point would be like of evening restaurant facilities.

The hotel is based in a beautiful villa on the moat just outside the city centre of Middelburg, a lovely location to spend a few days in. There is ample private parking, and our room, in the new extension, was tastefully decorated and well equipped. The spacious bathroom had a bath and shower. The continental breakfast buffet was excellent. We would have liked an outside light to enjoy the patio in the evening and the switch for the central light was in the corridor. These small gripes won't stop us returning and we highly recommend a stay here.

The hotel is in a great location within easy walking distance of the centre of Middelburg and at the same time is very quiet. The room we had was on the first floor with a small balcony. It had everything we needed. Breakfast was excellent with a variety of food and rinks. The staff at the hotel were very friendly and helpful.
