Only five blocks away from Plaza Central. Completely safe to walk at night. The most attentive staff work in this beautiful and quet establishment. These people will go above and beyond during your stay to really make you feel at home.

The staff was amazing. My daughter got sick and everyone working there was so concerned for her. They called a doctor to make a house visit and made her tea, and went above and beyond for my baby. I appreciate the staff there so much.

Historical property in a great location- near the Centrol area. The bathroom for our room was 12 steps up a stairway, which is not ideal in the middle of the night!

Great property but we never had hot water even after letting it run for more than 10 min as directed by staff.
Bathroom was up a flight of very narrow stairs so if you need to use the restroom in the night you will need to be careful.

Cumpleaños en Merida
Hotel VIVA MERIDA es un pequeño pero muy lindo espacio en donde encontrarás rincones pintorescos en el cual no puedes evitar tomar fotografías, el staff es muy amable y están a disposición todo el tiempo, inclusive nos reservaron un taxi para nuestra salida temprano.
El DESAYUNO fue muy completo, disfrutamos de un café, pan dulce, fruta, jugo y pan artesanal con mermelada hecha en casa y mantequilla al siguiente día nos organizaron un box lunch ya que nuestra salida fue antes de la hora del desayuno.
La HABITACIÓN que reservamos es estándar, bastante cómoda, cuenta con cama matrimonial, una pequeña sala, closet, cajoneras, mini bar con productos de snacks y bebidas (con costo adicional) el baño está en un piso alto , ojo, quizás está opción no es tan práctica para todos los viajeros, el baño no tiene puerta es un concepto nuevo diferente algo que también deberán tomar en cuenta.
En la parte alta de la habitación hay un tragaluz y un ventilador de humedad que por la noche da la sensación que te están mirando. El personal se encargó de hacerme un detalle muy especial por mi cumpleaños estoy totalmente agradecida 🙏🙏 , cuenta con una pequeña pero cómoda piscina, área de camastros y bar lounge hasta las 9:30 pm, también puedes rellenar tus botellas con el dispensador de agua que se encuentra junto a la recepción, el hotel es muy céntrico y vale totalmente conocer, Gracias viva Merida por todas las atenciones sin duda repetiremos la visita.

Loved it!
The staff was fabulous, location good, atmosphere was awesome. We received an upgrade on our room and our request of a room with no stairs was fulfilled. The breakfast was hearty and tasty and the overall price was great. The hotel had an altar for Dia de Los Muertos and allowed us to put our family pictures on it. The staff even framed our pictures which was so kind and generous. Excellent stay.

The property is in a great location and the staff is incredibly nice. However, we were a little disappointed in the quality of the room. Our sink basin was a bit dirty; the main light fixture did not work; and the bed can use some nicer linens. Perhaps most disappointing was the mattress, which was covered in crinkley plastic. Things that we really enjoyed are the traditional colonial style architecture, the included breakfast, access to a private parking lot, and the bar and bartender.

Magnifique hôtel avec une ambiance presqu andalouse avec fontaine et patio . Accueil très agréable de Jessie et son équipe . A recommander absolument pour qui veut découvrir la belle ville de Merida ou rayonner vers Uxmal et Campeche .
