Amazing property in an amazing location (up a hill next to a horse farm and olive trees). Pool and flowers everywhere. Only inconvenient us having to drive out for dinner.

Wonderful hotel on a hill with beautiful views of the landscape around. Fantastic customer service that was very helpful in booking activities for us beforehand (cooking class and dinner in the vineyard at a winery) and so accommodating when we were there. There are roses everywhere on the property that are well taken care of. Pool and jacuzzi were wonderful, rooms were clean, comfortable and good temperature. Highly recommended! We will definitely be back.

We loved our time at this gorgeous adults-only resort! The staff were all friendly and so helpful! Every view is peaceful & the area is classic Tuscany - resort is even right above a lovely horse farm. Do be aware the parking is down a hill, but it’s a lovely walk back up to the main building. Also there are steps to some rooms so notify if need ground level. Our double room was lovely & comfortable - the shower was small but worked well - double bed was large and firm. Breakfast was tasty, with good variety over 3 mornings - the unlimited coffee was so good! No official dinner served but can order “snacks” until 7:30p - our yummy ham/cheese panini & gelato were sufficient “dinner” for an evening by the pool. We were sad to leave Sassa al Sole and would definitely stay here again!

Fantastico staff. Tutti gentili e professionali. Unico neo un po’ di odore dì umidità in stanza che parte dopo qualche tempo. Suggerisco di verificare l’aria condizionata ed aggiungere zanzariere. Ci torneremo!

Fantastiskt ställe!
Helt fantastiskt fint och ljuvligt ställe. Lugnt och tjusigt i en vacker miljö. Utmärkt service med vänligt bemötande. Restaurangen kvällstid har bara en lättare meny så man bör vara beredd på att åka till någon närliggande by för att äta. Flingor till frukosten var inte mycket att välja på men i övrigt god och tillräcklig frukost. Besöker man detta underbara hotell bör man också ta en sväng kvällstid till gamla stan, San Miniato.

Außergewöhnlich gepflegte Unterkunft, die gesamte Anlage ist absolut sauber, sowohl die Zimmer wie auch der Außenbereich. Wunderschön angelegter Pool und Garten mit viel Liebe zum Detail, farblich alles perfekt abgestimmt. So sind bspw. die Mülleimer in der Außenanlage absolut unauffällig integriert, da es farblich passende Tongefäße sind. Das Personal ist immer freundlich und sehr aufmerksam. Herrlicher Blick von der Restaurant-Terrasse, wo das ausgezeichnete Frühstück serviert wird. Besonders die am Buffet angebotenen Süßspeisen sind exzellent.
In den Zimmern befinden sich nicht nur Bademäntel und Hausschuhe sondern auch neue Flipflops für den Pool!
Während unseres einwöchigen Aufenthaltes fing es einmal an zu regnen und sofort wurden überall Regenschirme verteilt!
BESSER GEHT NICHT!!! Wir kommen wieder!

Mooi kleinschalig hotel
Een mooi kleinschalig hotel met uitstekende service en een heerlijk ontbijt. Het personeel is heel vriendelijk en erg behulpzaam.
Het restaurant was tijdens ons verblijf helaas gesloten voor het diner maar dat was al netjes van te voren naar ons gecommuniceerd. Bij aankomst krijg je een lijst met restaurants in de buurt en op verzoek wordt er een reservering voor je gemaakt.
Wij hebben genoten van ons verblijf.

What an incredible stay we had. The property is tucked atop a long, winding driveway that brings you past horses, olives growing, and tuscan sunflowers. When you reach the property, you're met by employees to take your bags to your room while you park and had to reception to get settled in. The dining space overlooks tidy rows of olives and grapes growing on the rolling hills, and the pool is meticulous.

Nous avons passé 4 jours très agréables au relais Sassa al Sole. Nous avons été bichonnés. Le Spa est vraiment magnifique et les soins nous ont fait un bien fou.
Le jardin, la chambre, tout est décoré avec goût et cette touche italienne que l'on ne retrouve nulle part ailleurs. Un seul regret : le restaurant fermé lors de notre séjour qui nous a obligé à nous aventurer de nuit (pour le retour de resto) dans les villages voisins.

the scenery of this hotel is very nice, with a swimming pool and restaurant looking out over the hills of Tuscany. Very nice set up with limited number of rooms.

Mas é uma opção para quem quer descansar e relaxar. Possui um excelente spa!
No meu caso, que estava viajando pela Toscana e querendo conhecer osterias (restaurantes) e um pouco as cidades locais, não aproveitei tanto a estrutura do hotel.
San Miniato fica a 8km do hotel e pode ir tanto de dia como a noite.
