Loved the retro vibe of the hotel and rooms. Clean rooms and complimentary breakfast. Didn’t have time to use, but wonderful outside area with pool, mini golf and ping pong. Great location in downtown, 1-2 blocks from restaurants, breweries and bars.

Awesome, friendly helpful staff. Great AC. The area is slowly being gentrified and this place is a shining star from that.

Love this place. Our whole weekend trip to Kinston was based around staying at the motor lodge after I saw a billboard while driving to the beach the previous year. It was all we hoped for. Unfortunately it was rainy the weekend we visited and we weren't able to enjoy the pool and mini golf but we still liked being able to see and hear the pool fountain from our room. Amazing location too, within 4 blocks of everything we wanted to see in the short time we were there. I've already recommended it to several friends in person and would recommend it to anyone reading this review.

This place was built in 1963 and was one of the cleanest hotels we've ever stayed in. Loved the vibe! Never judge a book by it's cover- this place had more to offer than most newly built hotels. Staff was amazing, room had everything you needed, and it's close to everything downtown. It's the closest hotel to UNC Lenoir Hospital which was our reason for going. Would go back just for the heck of it.

Really cute motel. Very comfotable and clean. Perfect for a weekend at the ENC Ren Faire. Would absolutely stay here again. Also, loved being able to go out in the court yard at night and feel very safe because it's all gated.

As always, the front desk staff is great, the grounds and rooms are clean and well stocked with the essentials. Within walking to dining, pool, bikes to use, and putt-putt make your stay great. Breakfast is not fully stocked so if you are expecting a full meal, you will need to go out for this.
