4/10 Fair

Take note that this is not a “Delta Hotel” of the Delta chain. It is a 2 star hotel that has seen better days. However, and to fair, the rate we paid per night was quite low, so you get what you pay for. Staff were helpful and quick to respond. The heater in the room worked and there was plenty of hot water. The room was generally clean, but tired.

Sapa Stay amongst the Clouds

Pretty good value for money and convenient location. Staff were helpful and provided a local breakfast as opposed to a western one.

No words.......

First time in all our years of travelling that we checked in to a hotel, then promptly sought out another one and forfeited our paid booking to check-in elsewhere. Our room looked nothing like the glossy photos. It was unclean and several walls and places on the ceiling were covered in mould. Reception gave no response when we told them we were checking out and going elsewhere as the room was unclean.
