1872 is an oasis in West Yellowstone. Comfortable room, xl double shower with great water pressure, and sauna were very much appreciated after a long day on the trails. Excellent breakfast with tasty coffee and an abundant tea selection. Staff were very helpful.

This was a great hotel. Room and property itself so clean and nicely decorated - loved the shower! The staff was so pleasant and helpful. This hotel is a little off the main strip but so easy to walk to everything. We walked to dinner each night. The breakfast served at the hotel was very fresh and we enjoyed it. We 100% will stay here again if we come back to this area. We booked tours to Yellowstone and we were picked up at the hotel which was fantastic! Thank you!

The was a very quaint facility. Room was comfortable/well appointed (bed, not so much - time to be replaced), AC worked great, bathroom was amazing (double sink, double shower head). This is an adult only facility, which was appreciated. Full breakfast buffet was included (large selections). Staff was very friendly and helpful.

The 1872 Inn was clean, the staff was very friendly and helpful, and our room was very quiet. A staff member insisted on carrying my heavy bag for me down the stairs, as well as replenishing our bottled water as often as needed. The breakfast offered many choices of hot and cold food, and parking was more than ample.

The property is wonderfully decorated in the theme of Yellowstone and 1872. It was perfect stay for our daily trips into Yellowstone. It would be great if the sauna stayed open later than 10pm.

Such a perfect place to relax after touring Yellowstone all day. It was clean, quiet. Wished we could’ve enjoyed another night or two! But highly recommend!

1872 Inn exceeded my expectations. The front desk and housekeeping staff were all so kind and helpful. Check in was easy, and it was very nice being escorted to our room and shown were the amenities were. Breakfast each morning offered a variety of hot and cold options, and staff continually cleaned and refilled. I chose this inn while in town for the Yellowstone 1/2. It was an easy 6/7 min walk to the start line. Would choose this hotel again.

Everything excellent

8/10 Very good

Cute and modern with clean accommodations. Rooms are on the small side and bathrooms are an open floor plan. There was not a main door to the bathroom itself in our room. The toilet had its own room, but the shower was clear glass enclosed and within full view of the main area of the room without any way to close it off. Inn itself is towards the end of town so it’s a bit of a walk or drive. Area was noisy at night with cars/trucks from surrounding buildings. Staff was kind and accommodating and breakfast was tasty.

Das Hotel ist schön klein und ruhig. Das Frühstück ist gut passt aber nicht zum Anspruch des Hotels (zu einfach und zu wenig Auswahl). Generell kann ich das Hotel empfehlen.
