10/10 Exceptional

Our stay at Al Campanile in Baveno was amazing! The hotel, itself, was wonderful with a perfect location for walking to the waterfront, but Costanza, who welcomed us at check-in, made it perfect! She was warm, friendly and extremely helpful to us when we arrived and throughout our time at the hotel. She communicated with us prior to arriving, procured parking onsite for us, and generally provided any information we needed to enjoy the beautiful town, including restaurant recommendations and water taxi services to the three islands off of the coast. What a lovely human being she is; someone who will remain a highlight of our entire two-week trip to Italy (and we were only in Baveno for two days)! Many thanks, Costanza!

The staff at Al Campanile were outstanding. They provided personal service and helped find solutions to problems created by forced itinerary changes. The hotel immaculate and located in a beautiful setting. We wish we had booked a longer stay.

Very nice place, but be aware of that WiFi is not working, at least not in our room.

Hotel was very clean and a short walk down the street to the waterfront. The parking was fantastic in their private garage. Generous spaces which is a rarity.

10/10 Exceptional

My family of 4 loved our stay at Al Campanile and were sorry that we could only stay one night. The hotel was very clean and modern, the beds were very comfortable, and the air conditioning worked great. We had a garden view suite that had two rooms, two balconies, and a spacious bathroom. We enjoyed drinks and wonderful views on the rooftop terrace. We also appreciated being able to park in hotel garage (for 15 euros per day). The town of Baveno is very convenient for visiting Isola Bella and within walking distance of Stresa. I would recommend this property to others and gladly return!

6/10 Good

I booked this accommodation for the rooftop bar which wasn’t opened at all. The manager said it was due to rain -but honestly I think he just didn’t want the hassle of opening it. It drizzled once and that was enough to shut it indefinitely! Our room was OK. The value was fair… but not outstanding. They have services listed like ‘laundry service’ which they actually don’t offer. The property itself is modern, well designed and in a great location! Some of the rooms look really lovely. I just felt like I was a bit of an inconvenience to them. I REALLY wanted to love it!
