A beautiful stay for one night en route from the Bernina express. Beautiful family room accomodation, spotlessly clean, with a wonderful friendly and kind host. Easy short walk from the train station with 3 kids plus luggage. Sorry we couldn't stay longer! Ten stars!!

What a lovely find! It was built on the 1500s and you literally feel like you've stepped back in time within those stone walls. The owners have created such a warm atmosphere that made us feel like we were guests at a home rather than a hotel. There were even toys for my son to play with. The staff went out of their way to make us feel welcomed. The only downside was that there is no AC and it can get rather hot. We were sweating through the night even with the fan on... Apart from that, I can't recommend this enough! It is such a unique find!

We had a wonderful yet short stay before our Bernina Express train journey. Andrea, our host, was very kind and helpful. He shared stories of his family and the area and gave us suggestions for exploring the town. He knew we had to leave early in the morning for the train and had a wonderful and fresh breakfast ready for us. The hostel is very cute and cozy, with thoughtful touches throughout, including color/coordinated towels and cups for the bathroom, and a beautiful outdoor terrace space. A short trail leads up behind the hostel for quiet and beautiful views of the town and surrounding mountains. Stay here and you will not be disappointed!

Unique and relaxing stay

We had a lovely stay at this unique character-filled small hotel. The hosts Andrea and his son were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great value and included local yoghurts, breads, pastries and delicious local meat and cheese. We also really enjoyed evening sundowners on the little terrace upstairs.
