4/10 Fair

First off, the walls and floors are super thin you can hear your neighbours using their washroom and it sounds like anyone above you will come crashing down on you. The 1st night we stayed, our neighbours were having a massive argument which woke us up and then I had to ask them to keep the noise down as I had already told reception and that did nothing. BEWARE - The shower / bath tub is slippery. Even though it has anti slip strips in it, I slipped in the shower and landed on my lower back. They need bath mats to stop this happening! Cleanliness, they could do better. If they spent an extra 10 mins a day cleaning the rooms they would look nicer. The beds are soft as well as the pillows. The bed covers are weighted so they feel like bricks on you. We cranked the heat up and slept under the sheets. The location is great as its near the center of the town and so close to other amenities like stores / restaurants and the shore front shops. Personally we will never stay here again, I think its over priced 500 for 3 nights, yes it was over the thanks giving weekend, still considering their competition, still expensive.

10/10 Exceptional

Very friendly reception, they gave us the map of the area and shared good recommendation on the sightseeing. Convinient location. We stayed at the family suite and it was very convinient for my family. Clean rooms. The room had a small fridge, and a microwave. It is understood that it is not a luxury accommation through.

Budget hotel
The hotel is a basic stay, rooms are clean but dated. Beds were ok and fairly comfortable. Everything looked tired though from the 1970's style comforters to the chipped sink. Walls are thin and you can here next door rooms. Room is over priced for what it is. Having said that there isnt much choice on manitoulin island.

2/10 Poor

I would not recommend this hotel. It was not clean. You could see the light from the lack of moulding around the door, so I feared little creatures could have crawled in. Very close to busy highway so it was noisy.

The motel is conveniently located and is within minutes walks to restaurants, harbour and bars. It is an older facility but comfortable. The end room on the 2nd floor overlooks the harbour.
